"Happy birthday you shit head." Victor, one of the many guards of the Juvenile Detention Centre had grabbed him from his disgusting breakfast to grab all his things. Not even one year ago, ten months to be exact James Blake was arrested for a crime he did commit. Possession of weed, attempting to sell, and punching an on duty officer- three times. Victor was the only guard that could handle James' prick attitude.
James probably could have been connected with more crimes such as breaking and entering, breaking, theft, and vandalism.
Though Victor also had a high respect for punching the officer who just happened to be Victor's identical twin brother. The guard of the centre hated his brother, for years and think that the man deserved what he got. "I had a year, why the fuck am I being let out early?" James asked, his eye was black from a fight he had gotten in one week prior. Another reason that James shouldn't be let out.
"I didn't ask, don't really care." Victor had given some clothes that James' father had brought. It was just an old sweatshirt and sweatpants, nothing special. The brunette boy quickly changed; not wanting to be in the place anymore. It was mainly the food be hated, the guards were assholes but the food was shit. "You will have parole." Victor mentioned, yelling into the room that James was changing into.
"Lucky me." James muttered, pulling his shirt over his head. He left the old clothing a mess on the chair and walked out of the room. "What's my parole?"
A women nicely dressed in business attire stood next to Owen Blake who just wore jeans and jacket over a plaid shirt. "Nothing big, I don't suggest leaving the country without your father." She smiled politely at him. "Possible drug tests, random of course. Don't get into serious fights." She added, looking at him. "Did you learn you lesson?"
"I learned things." He smiled, when he had first spoken with his father he used the excuse it was better than school and he might actually learn something useful in juvie, he learned how to properly make joints; apparently he wasn't doing them correctly. He learned how to win fights easier. What he didn't learn was his lesson, and he was hoping to make an IED.
"Well you're out!" She smiled, even though it was clearly forced she still seemed enthusiastic. "Moving should be good, a fresh start." James, despite being a year behind his education since he skipped a lot of school prior to his arrest and didn't learn much at juvie; was stuck in a grade below. What the women meant was him starting completely over; going to school, no fights, no drugs, being punctual, behaved, and like a normal high school student.
"I heard the school I'm going to had a murderer student, is that true?" Owen's eyes widen, he knew the crime had gone up in Beacon Hills in the past year but he didn't know that the public school had a former student that was a killer. It made senses on why the school was accepting, still wary but hadn't denied him.
"I don't know much about Beacon Hills." She awkwardly said, James had the sense she was lying; and he wasn't go to be let that be her response. He wanted real information.
"I heard after he was murdered, more people were murdered." He pressed, raising an eyebrow; a playful smirk formed on James' face.
"I'll email you what I know, why don't we get your son out of here." She smiled, looking back over at James' narrowing her eyes at him; he sent her a wink. James chuckled, looking over at his father who seemed to be happy his son was finally out.

Beacon Hills was creepy at night, Owen had music quietly playing as they spoke. Though the conversation after over three hours had died quickly. "I was think soon I should start teaching you how to drive." His father suggested, James' eyes widen in excitement. "Well continue." Even with it not being legal, his father had began teaching his only child how to drive during his first freshmen year. "I mean you are of legal age now to go for your license." He smiled.
During the first hour of the car ride, Owen had discusses that juvie was a punishment for James and besides having to wait over a month for a phone; he wouldn't be grounded. James wasn't surprised, his father was never big on grounding, it was usually his mother that had end up grounding him.
"That would be awesome." James smiled at his father, though a lot of things had changed about James over the ten months; the relationship between him and his father had barely changed. "Does Beacon Hills have lacrosse?" He asked, James never played for a school team but he had played for his city's lacrosse team; he was rather good, than he was kicked off for his multiple suspensions at school, and then being arrested.
James had played first line, even with him being quite small; he was able to take down players twice his size with ease. "Beacon Hills High has an amazing lacrosse team." Owen had done research on Beacon Hills High, though he knew nothing about the sport; from what he got the school was one of the best in the county and won state a couple times. "Your gear is still in great condition as well."
James treated most of his gear better than he did his phone, it wasn't cheap and though his father paid for it; James didn't take it for granted. Not like his phone, his mother paid for that and she was always taking it away from him so eventually he stopped caring about it.
Just like his mother stopped caring about him.
"I don't think the tryouts have started yet, in about two weeks I think." Owen informed his son. "We will have to eventually talk about restrictions, I hope you know." James leaned his head on the window, he wasn't supposed to leave the country until he was eighteen, he couldn't leave the state for six months, possible drug tests, he couldn't get into serious fights either; he felt like he was restricted already.
"Whatever."
