James was the last to wake up, Mason and Lydia hovered over him as he laid on the floor in the basement. "Are you okay?" James nodded, he had no cuts or bruises like he expected; even if he did they would have healed. "Here let me help you up." Lydia offered, James took her hand and she yanked him up. Lydia was much stronger than she looked and James knew that was an good advantage for her to have. People would expect less of her and she'd fight back hard. James really admired Lydia for how she was constantly fighting back, she was one of the strongest in the pack. Maybe not physically the strongest; but the strongest in every other way.

"There was this guy. Huge, really huge. He had a, a skull on his face." James listened to Mason's description of the berserker, although it was extremely vague it was exactly how James would have described the creature. Mason was in shock, this was his first real time being exposed to the supernatural.

"Yeah I know, I saw it too." Lydia sighed, she was almost speaking in a whisper.

"My phone's gone." James said feeling his pockets, he was in slight panic. He had cracked the screen and couldn't afford to get it fixed and he definitely couldn't afford a new phone. James' priorities were not in order at the moment, he should have been focusing on getting out of here.

"I think that's the point." Lydia mumbled, she must have noticed that her phone was gone when she first woke up.

"Well why?" Mason asked before rushing out his next question. "What is he going to do to us?" James heard footsteps, he wasn't sure if any of the others heard the creature yet.

"I don't know, but it definitely doesn't want us to leave." Lydia pointed out, James felt his heart begin to pound; there was a small window where they were hidden. The sky was getting darker and the full moon was almost up.

"Lydia why do keep saying it?" Mason asked, catching on that the strawberry blonde girl did not believe it was human. James slowly stood up, the steps were getting closer. James leaned up against the wall, Mason, and Lydia following his actions now hearing the sounds. "What is that thing?" Mason asked after a small growl out, it was like a mixture of growling and hissing.

Lydia and James walked in front of the opening, James expected the creature to be there but instead the hallway was empty. "Not human." Lydia answered. James took a step back, he could feel the full moon affecting him already, he took a deep breath and looked at his hands. It was like his last full moon, this time he knew more about control. He dug his claws into his hands trying to keep himself human for as long as possible.

His breaths were quickening up, his heart was racing and Lydia was noticing. "It's the moon right?" She asked, trying to keep Mason out of the conversation. She asked him to reach something on a high shelf, to see if there was any better weapons than a metal baseball bat. James nodded not wanting to speak, he was trying to focus on keeping control; and it wasn't working. "Do you have an anchor?" She asked.

"A what?" He panted out, he could feel his fangs trying to grow in. Lydia saw his eyes change from a natural colour to a vibrant gold.

"An anchor, it's someone that keeps you human. Keeps you grounded, calms you down." She rushed out but still remained silent; she glanced over at Mason who was looking over at the two. "Think of you dad, Liam, Mason, yourself. It doesn't matter- something that reminds you that you're human. I have an idea okay? Just do your best to stay calm after that I'll take you to Satomi."

James nodded, confused as she walked away James watched the banshee grab the metal bat. James moved so he could watch what she was doing. The berserker was standing right there, growling as it saw the three. "Are you serious?" Mason asked in disbelief.
