I picked Franny up once we got outside, because the wind was like a hurricane. I honestly thought she'd fly away. The snow was deep and it was still falling hard. "I'm cold" she whined as we walked towards the store. "I know, I know, we're almost there" I said back to her. I quickly walked unit the store and the door flew open. I had to put Franny down to close it. "Oh my god, it's terrible out there" I exclaimed as I walked in. "I want candy!" Franny exclaimed from the candy isle. I walked over to her and smiled. "I'll get you candy only if, you eat it after dinner tonight" I told her. She sighed then nodded. "Okay, pick one" I said. She smiled and grabbed a Snickers. I walked around to the cereal isle and got some more cereal. I also got a new charger and earbuds. When I got to the counter, the cashier smiled at me. She had big green eyes and her brown hair in a messy ponytail. She had her name tag pinned onto her giant sweater. "Mmmmm" Franny whined at me. I picked her up and sat her on the counter. "Aw is she yours?" The cashier asked as she scanned my items. I raised my eyebrows and hesitated. "Um, no. She's my boyfriends daughter" I said awkwardly. The lady nodded. "She's adorable" she added. I smiled. "What is your name?" The cashier asked Franny. Franny looked at me with a worried look. "What's your name?" I asked in a high pitched voice. Franny then buried her head into my jacket. "Aw, someone's shy" the lady said. I laughed.

When we got back to the apartment, breakfast was ready and Winnie had woke up. She was on the couch watching TV while playing with her doll. "Hey!" Jimmy greeted when we walked in. "Hey!" I said back. "Daddy, is it almost done?" Winnie whined from the couch. Jimmy rolled his eyes. "Almost" he said back. "Is it crazy out there?" Jimmy asked me as I waked into the kitchen with Franny in my arms. "Oh my god, yes! The wind is terrible and the snow just keeps falling" I said. "Wow, sounds crazy" he said as he poured some orange juice into a cup. "It really is" I said. "How's my little princess?" Jimmy asked Franny. Franny reached for Jimmy. I passed her to him. "Aw, is really cold outside?" He asked her in a high pitched voice. She nodded and snuggled her head into his chest. "She's too adorable I said as I wrapped my arms around Jimmy's waist. "She really is" he said as he kissed her nose. "Daddy!" Winnie whined again from the couch. He sighed and sat Franny down. "Welcome to parenthood" he said as he walked into the living room. "Alright, come to the kitchen for breakfast!" He said to her. "Yay!" She yelled and hopped up from the couch. I smiled and walked to the table. "Oooh it smells great, babe" I said as I sat down at the table. "Thanks" he said as he sat down a plate of chopped up French toast in front of Winnie. She dug in. "Have you called your mom?" Jimmy asked as we ate. "No" I said back. "Stevie....." He said. "I don't wanna talk about it. I'll call her when I'm ready" I said and then shoved a piece of French toast In my mouth.
