Jenni's POV
I wake up and find myself lying partially atop Marty. I don't know why, but I blush. It's not like I haven't slept like this before. But now that I think about it, Marty usually gets me to get under the covers with him. He did act a little bit strange for a minute last night. I bet he wasn't wearing any pants and just decided to go to bed in just his red tshirt. That's alright, I don't care. I'm not that type of person. I wouldn't freak out like a little kid just because that's how he likes to sleep. I understand why he did it. His parents don't always respect his privacy. I smile to myself and shake my head.
I push the thought aside and scoot up a little closer. I check the clock and see what time it is. 6:28 AM. I turn my attention back to him. I couldn't scoot up much more because of his arms still being wrapped around my waist. I run my fingers through his hair, gently massaging the scalp. I giggle softly at the look on his face. He's smiling in his sleep. Awe, he's so adorable. I love him so much.
I'm glad we made up and didn't leave things the way they were. I almost thought that I was going to lose him. I can't stand that thought. I stop playing with his hair and just let my hand sit there. I lean closer to him and gently kiss him on the lips. Three seconds later, I feel his grip tighten. If he wasn't awake before, he is now.
I smile in the kiss. I nip at his bottom lip. I want him to kiss me again like one of the last times I was here. It doesn't take him long to figure out what I want. We tongue wrestle only for a moment before pulling away. I rest my head against his, smiling. My lips feel all tingly. He smiles back at me, his ocean blue eyes alight with happiness. "Well, that's always a nice way to wake up." Marty smirks. "Good morning to you too." I giggle. He quickly pecks me on the lips. "I missed you." He coos, just slightly above a whisper. My cheeks warm. "I missed you too." "Good because I'm never going to let something like that happen again." Marty smiles. "I was so afraid I was going to lose you over my stupidness." I smile warmly at him, awed. "Just so you know, you're stuck with me." I grin stupidly. "I like the sound of that." Marty mirrors my happy expression.
I decide to look at him a little more serious now. His eyes flicker to worry. "After I ran off, I kinda of went to Doc's." I admit. "Oh, so that's where you went. When I started to calm down I began to worry about where you went off to." He replies. "Yeah. He said he needed supplies and offered to take me with him so I did to take my mind off things. Course when I saw the stuff you mentioned, it was a little harder to do that." I half smile. "So Doc told you about time travel. That's great. Now I kind of don't feel so bad for telling you before he did." Marty chuckles. I nod my head. "I was surprised that he told me. It was actually really nice from what I saw." Marty smiles, pleased. "Well, would you like to hear a story that I can't tell anyone else?" He asked, excited. I nod my head and eagerly.
"Just as a warning Doc says that things can change so I'm sure by now something has changed. Anyways, when he took me I had to get my son out of some trouble. When I fixed it everything seemed fine so I hope when I get to that point again it still will be. But besides that, it was really great." He explains. I start playing with his hair again. "I'm sure it still will be." I smirk, hoping that it's a future that I'll get to be in with him. I know we're still so young, but it doesn't hurt to think. I feel Marty lean in and he starts kissing me again. "Of course it will be." He whispers against my lips.
We stay like that for a little bit and fumble around. I pull away, but not too quickly. I don't care how he's dressed, I'm getting cold. He looks at me like, "What are you doing now?" I pull the cover to the base of his waist. His cheeks start turning pink. I cock my head to the side. "Something wrong Marty?" I asked with a sly grin. "N-No." He stutters. "Good. Then you won't mind if I get under the covers with you." He presses his lips together in an awkward smile. Yeah, he's not telling me something. I still want to believe the underwear thing.
