Jenni's POV

Today's the day. My first day back at school. I kind of wonder what it'll be like since I didn't go to high school here for the first year. It shouldn't be too bad since I've got Marty in my life. Good ol' Hill Valley high school, what do you have in store for me?

It's about 7:30 and school starts at 8. I'm just now getting dressed. I grab a soft teal tank top, a black off the shoulder top, and some jeans. I brush my teeth and comb my hair. I grab my shoes and see it's 7:42. Crap. I need to hurry up. I decide to skip breakfast. I'm not really hungry anyways. I wave to my parents and I'm off. I get on my bike and ride straight to school.

When I get in the parking lot, I park my bike in the bike rack. As I'm doing so, I see Marty's black truck pull in. I catch him out of the corner of my eye, but he's not alone. I sort of frown. When she gets out of the truck, I get a better look at her.

She had curly light brown hair and green eyes. She wore simple makeup on her eyes and red lipstick. Her clothes consisted of a light pink floral blouse with a jean jacket, floral printed skinny jeans, and white shoes. She's actually quite pretty. She must be crazy about him.

I hope she treats him right. If I were her, I'd make him feel like he's on top of the world. I internally blush at the thought. Me? Marty's girlfriend? Heh, like that'd ever happen. The way that everyone talks about them they seem already settled down and will marry in the next few years.

Marty spots me while I'm finishing up the lock on my bike. "Hey Jenni, what's up?" He holds his arms out for a hug. I finish up the lock and turn to him. I nervously hug him back. With his girlfirend Jennifer standing right behind him, it feels awkward with him in my arms. She doesn't seem phased or bothered by the friendly guesture, but still.

When I let go, he turns to Jennifer. "Jen, this is Jenni. We met at the arcade on friday." He smiles towards me. I smile back for his sake. "Nice to meet you Jenni. I'm Jennifer." She gives a soft smile as she holds out her hand for me to shake. I relunctantly take it. This is so awkward. To me it is at least. I pull away and look back to Marty. Now what's going to happen next?

Jennifer's POV

Marty and I decided to ride to school together this morning. When we pull into the school parking lot, I notice a new girl linking her bike to the bike rack. I wonder who that girl is. I've never seen her at school before that I'm aware of. I see that she's noticed us as Marty parks the truck near the rack.

The girl has a blank, but curious expression on her face. I open the door to get out. When she stands up I get a better view of her. She's wearing a soft teal tank top underneath a black off the shoulder top and some jeans. The girl has wavy brown hair and blue green eyes. She wore very little make up, but she wore a soft pink lipstick that stood out. In my opinion she's not bad looking.

Marty locks up the truck and walks over to the new girl. What is he up to? How does he even know her? He's never mentioned her to me before. If I find out he's cheating on me, I will kick his ass. "Hey Jenni, what's up?" I hear him say to her. I watch as he holds his arms out for her to hug him. The girl, Jenni as he called her, looks at him slightly nervous. She hugs him. I lightly cringe at the scene in front of me.

How can he hug her so calmly like that in front of me, his girlfriend? I keep calm despite the raging emotions inside of me. Marty pulls away and turns back to my direction. "Jen, this is Jenni. We met at the arcade on friday." He smiles at her. Jenni smiles back in response. "Nice to meet you Jenni. I'm Jennifer." I give her a soft smile as I hold out my hand for her to shake. Jenni hesitantly takes it. She seems alright.

Jenni pulls away and looks back to Marty before turning her attention back to me. "It's nice to meet you too. Marty told me about you the day we met." She momentarily stares into the distance. Knowing him, he probably didn't tell her about me right away. If they met at the arcade like he said they did, then he probably talked her head off about video games. They seem innocent enough so there shouldn't be anything to worry about. I'm just over reacting. But it doesn't hurt to defend what's yours.

Jenni looks at her watch then back to us. "Class is about to start." She nibbles on the corner of her lip. Must be first day, new school jitters. I should leave before it gets too late. But first. I take my right hand push Marty's face towards mine and hold it there. He looks at me strange for a moment, but smirks when he realizes what I want.

I rest my other hand gently on his left shoulder and kiss him hard on the lips. He reacts by kissing back and looping his hand around my waist. A few seconds later, we end the kiss. I wave at the two. "I'll see you later sweetie. Bye Jenni." Hmph, that should let her know that Marty's mine. Whether or not she likes him, I'm going to make sure she knows not to try anything.

Jenni's POV

I inwardly gasp. That was on purpose. I just know it. There was no reason for her to be a show off like that. It doesn't matter whether I like him or not. I know he's taken. I'm not going to do anything about it. That's all on him.

I replay the scene in my mind again. I decide to quickly check the time to make sure I wasn't going to be late for my first class. I look at my watch then back to them. "Class is about to start." I start to softly nibble on the corner of my lip out of habit. Jennifer gives a sly smile, but of course Marty doesn't see it. I know what she's trying to do. She's trying to make me jealous that her and Marty are a couple. But little does she know, I'm not going to give into her little game.

Jennifer takes her right hand pushing Marty's face towards hers and holds it there. He looks at her strangely for a second, but smiles when he realizes she wants a goodbye kiss. She rests her other hand gently on his left shoulder and kisses him hard on the lips. Marty reacts by kissing her back and wrapping his hand around her waist. A few seconds later, they end the kiss.

Jennifer waves at us as she heads to the front door of the school. "I'll see you later sweetie. Bye Jenni." I scuff at it. I'm not mad that they kissed in front of me, I'm mad that she tried to make me jealous of her. There's nothing to be jealous of. Of course I'm sure Marty didn't even notice it.

Ugh, I swear girls notice things that even the guys don't see. Including this bull crap that just happened. "Hey, everything alright Jenni?" Marty snaps me out of my inner rant. "Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just thinking about what the rest of today's going to be like." I partially lie to him. I didn't want go lie to him, but I couldn't exactly tell him the truth either. The truth is that I'm pissed because your girlfriend is being a little snobby show off bitch behind your back and you couldn't see it. He nods his head and tells me that he's gotta go and can't be late anymore. I smile and wave him off. He does the same.

I sigh as I head to class myself. Maybe now that I think about it, I feel like I am developing some kind of feelings towards him. Seeing as how I reacted back there. I tried not to make it obvious that it bothered me. I sort of don't want to though. The feelings that are appearing. I don't want to put myself in that kind of position. As of right now, he's forbidden fruit. I can't fall for him. I just can't. Although, I feel like that's not going to go over well.
