Lou's P.O.V

I could have said yes. I could have said no.

But, I said nothing instead as I left him hanging and ran into my room. I told Bianca to give me some time alone and I wouldn't be joining then for dinner when she followed me upstairs.

I'm confused. It can't be him. I mean, of all people, it just can't be. Why? How? And, now, he just said his feelings for me. He just said that he loves me, too. What is this? Another one of his pranks?

You know he was serious, my inner self said.

Let's say he was serious. But. What if he's wrong and my feeling's for him was all because of Daniel.
What am I feeling right now? I feel so numb.

I sighed, rolling on my back and reaching for my phone on the lamp stand. Hitting the call button, I pressed it to my ear and waited for the other line to be picked up.

"Hey, princess," Calum greeted cheerfully. "How can I be of service, milady?"

Sniffing, I said; "hi, baby."

"Are you crying?" He asked, curious and concerned. "What happened? Is something wrong?"

"Its... I'm not..." I lied but gave up eventually knowing that I can't lie to Calum. Not to him. "I'm sorry."

"Ssshhh, baby, it's okay," he cooed. "I know you better than I know yourself."

"I know," I whimpered. "It's just so messed up. I don't know what to do. I don't even know what to feel anymore."

"Ssshhh," he repeated, hushing me. "Don't do anything foolish, okay? You promised me. I'm trusting you."

"I won't," I said, assuring him.

"You know what," he continued. "Never mind. I'm driving to your place. Wait for me, okay?"

"Okay," I nodded as if he can see me, smiling weakly. "I'll ring Simon so he'll let you in."

"I love you, Lou," he said.

"I know," I muttered.

I heard him sighed before the line went dead.

And though he won't can't hear me anymore, I said; "I... Calum, I think I love you, too..."

Not wanting to go down, I messaged Bianca to tell mom that Calum's coming before putting the phone back. My eyes wondered to the black leathered notebook that contains all my memories of Daniel.

Re-reading the first few entries, I reminisce every happy memory I have with him - before turning the page to the day I was with him for the last time - his graduation day - the day he left. Clouding my vision with tears, I closed the notebook; however feeling something from the lower side of it, I opened it once more and found a folded page after my last entry before it got to Ashton's hands. Wondering what it could be, I unfolded it, revealing a letter that wasn't my handwriting but of someone I know.
