Lauren's Diary Part 2

Dear Diary,

So,as you know,this is part two so,yeah!

Once Taylor came in,we started playing. It took probably an hour or two. Then,I explained to her about what we were going to do.

"Taylor,listen,so,once we go to bed and my mom leaves,we'll start chatting and playing...but quietly and we'll also eat some of my Halloween candy,since you let me eat your at your house" I said
"Really? Cool!"
"I know. Also,do you wanna sleep in a fort? We can make it in secret"
"Sure"
"K"
"But when are we gonna make it?"
"Duh! When my mom leaves and she's in the shower,we can make it!"
"What about your dad? And what if your mom didn't close the door?"
"My mom always closes the door"
"Oh,alright"
"Also,my dad likes to wear headphones and watch videos on cars"
"Wha?"
"My dad"
"Yeah..."
"Is always busy,like,on the computer"
"Oh,alright"
"K. Let's go play now,later we're gonna eat"
"Kk"

7:30pm

"This is good! Not that I'm used to it,or anything,but its good! Your mom's a great cook!" Says Taylor.
"Glad you like it!" Says mom.
I nod in agreement
"Let's finish up! I really want to finish that movie we almost finished watching last time you were over"
"Ya,same."
Then we started eating. Then,we finished eating. Then,yada yada yada,we went to watch TV,yada yada yada,got sent to bed,yada yada yada, fake slept. Parents said goodnight,mom went to take a shower,dad went back to watching car videos. Well,let's just say I "fast forward" all that to get to the good part. Anyways, then,we started collecting pillows and blankets and all that. And a flashlight,duh! Oh,oh,oh! And also candy! Yes! Candy! Never forget candy! And,yeah... We put the blankets down and put pillows ontop of them,and then folded(or wrapped) up the pillows and carried the "sacks" downstairs. Once all the bags were downstairs, we stole a few pillows from downstairs and ... Guess! What did we also get? Can't guess,right? Too hard? Want me to tell ya? Hmm? Yes? Okay,well... We also took the couch cushions. Literally, you know how when you sit on a couch / sofa, there are,um,like,these big,flat pillows that you sit on,that are removable, right? Yes? Okay,moving on,people!
Anyways, we took all those cushions and 4 chairs from the dinner table,and used them to stand the fort. So,we took the one huge blanket and used it as a roof. Obviously, we put it ontop of the chairs,so,yeah. Then,we took the couch cushions and used them as walls and doors. Cool,huh? Then,we used smaller blankets on the inside for us to lie down on,since the floor wasn't as comfy to sleep on than walk on. Anyways, then we used the normal pillows we sleep on and used them,to,duh,sleep on inside the fort. Then,it was morning,and...

*Fast Forward*

Yada yada yada,got dressed,yada yada yada,morning stuff,yada yada yada,breakfast,yada yada yada,Taylor left

"Why is everything always so boring when I'm alone???" I ask to no one in particular
"Hon!"
"Yeah mom?"
"Can I talk to you?"
"Sure. I'm in the fort"
"Okay honey,you will need to take down this fort,and build another one,okay? Also,I know how you wanted a cricket for a long time now."
"Yeah...wait. Where is this leading to?"
"Something that you will like for sure"
"Okay... Yes,I've wanted a cricket for a long time"
"And..."
"And?"
"And,today,later,you will get to go and see them! They have a litter that was just born 5 days ago!"
"But mom! Then they don't even have their eyes open!"
"I know,but we are the first ones to go see them! Plus,then,you can pick the one you like! The breeder said that you can have weekly visits,until your cricket is ready to come home with you."
"Really? That's amazing!"
"Yes. But,you will have to share your cricket with Angel"
"Duh! Of course! She will be the family pet!"
"Who?"
"The cricket. I'm getting a girl cricket"
"Ah,yes"
"That all you wanted to talk about?"
"Mhmm" mom nodded then walked away.
"Yay!!!" I squealed.

Now diary,I'm sure you would like to hear more,but,oh okay,maybe I'll write. a little more,bit that's all. After that,I'm going to have to say bye and go do some research on crickets!

I really wish my day would go by faster. When you wait for something,it feels like forever. When your not waiting for something,it goes by really fast!
