Was I starting to have feelings for Cole?
The way I talk about him states the obvious pretty much.Everlyn pull yourself together, don't get involved! Cara will ruin you.
The little voice inside my head was telling me not to get into it. But what if these are real feelings? I can't just let them suppress my thoughts and not do anything about them.
Jacs will take everything away just like Nate did, leave it Eves. Cole is Cold remember.
-----------------
Jacs and I sat in silence, I saw him take a few glances here and there, but nothing else. My thoughts were consumed by Cole, what has that boy done to me? I've put up my walls for a reason. And it feels like his torn them all down.
That's why I used fun to help me get through, but feelings? No! This is all too new, I don't like it one bit."Hey what's wrong?" Jacs put his hand on my leg, while driving with the other hand. It didn't affect me. I was just wishing it was Cole's hand.
"Nothing" I lied.
"Come on Eves. Even a blind man could tell you that something's up"
I moved my leg to let him know Tay I felt uncomfortable and he snatched his hand away quick."Nothing's up Jackson, let's just go, where are we going anyway?" Was oblivious to the whole fact I had no idea where he was taking me. What does that make you Everlyn? He could be a serial killer. I chuckled at my thoughts, I remember the day on the plane when Tyler and I had an argument about the silent assassin being on the plane.
His so silly. Just like me.
I miss him so much."Its a surprise"
He had an evil smirk on his face. Yep! I'm going to die today.----------------
We pulled up outside a shop, it looked nice enough. Jacs got out and came around to open my door, I smiled politely and got out.
He intertwined his fingers with mine and took me into the shop.As soon as I stepped inside, it was amazing, it was like nothing I ever expected. Jacs really outdid it. But for me? I didn't deserve it.
Around the shop were white lights. A table in the middle with an Australian flag on there. The place was filled with Australian things, little hats, little toys and there was a koala set in each of our seats.
"Jacs- I.. This is amazing" I walked over to the seat and picked up the koala. It's so cute, his eyes filled with excitement, you have every reason to be excited Jacs, this is so amazing.
"You said you grew up in Australia, and that's a fair way away, I thought that maybe if I let you spend a day in Australia it would make you feel a bit better, I know it isn't exactly Australia but I hope you-"
I ran up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck, it took him seconds to return my gesture. This is so thoughtful."I love it"
Jacs set me down and put out his hand to come and sit down. He pulled out my chair and I kindly took a seat.
He put up one finger and told me to stay put, then ran like his life depended on it into the back of the shop. Jacs returned with a plater, I couldn't quite see because it was set too high for me to take a peek. When he put it down, I laughed.
It was a plate full of meat. Different types actually."I had no idea what type of food that is mainly eaten in Australia, so I searched the web and it came up with this, sausages, sausage rolls, meat pies"
Oh Jesus. Is that really what the internet says about Australia? That's the food we eat?
I laugh again and he had a confused look.
"It's so sweet, but we eat any other food aswell, to match your point, I've never actually tried a meat pie"
It's true, I never have. I was about to one time when Nate brought it after school one day. But I was too caught up in eating a bowl of macaroni and cheese to take notice. He offered me some but my head was stuck in the books by the time he thought of it.
