Chapter 2 Where am I from

Chapter 2

I had Andi and Dryw just drop me off at home. I really didn't want to be a third wheel again. Tonight really bothered me. I could feel something was off I just couldnt tell what it was. I mean everything was fine until I talked to Eaghan. There was this strong pull to him that I haven't felt in my life.I felt like i knew him but if you want to get technical I have never spent any time with him if the hour or so on the deck at the party counted. I changed out of my party clothes and headed to the bedroom making a detour downstairs for some hot chocolate. I was shaken and this always seemed to calm me. I climbed the stairs and stretched out on my bed turned the radio on and grabbed my book. We had to read Homer for the lit class i was taking. I had read it once and decided to read it again to make sure i didnt misunderstand the book.After reading for an hour or so i checked the doors and made sure they were locked. I headed to bed and fell into a dark sleep. 

"Brynn you have to listen to us. You are on the verge of discovering what is waiting for you. We are sorry we had to leave you so young but we had no choice. They found us. We had hidden you from them well enough that they never knew you existed. But I must warn you that  They know about you now. They will hunt you down and destroy you like they did us. Do not fall prey to them. The fate of  our world and the Earth lies in your hands. We will guide you from this dimension when we can. We are so proud of you dear. "

I jumped up sweating looking at the clock it was nearly six am. I rubbed my eyes and stumbled to the bathroom noticing that Andi stayed with Dryw last night. I grabbed my cell of the kitchen counter and noticed there was several texts messages. One was from Raven mentioning seeing me at the party and I was hot as ever and lets get together. Blah the others were from  Eaghan. I don't remember giving him my number. 

Sorry for seeming rude last night but I really think you deserve better than him. You always were Golden

Can I buy you breakfast tomorrow?

Guess your asleep I will holler at you later

I would kill her when she got home. I ran upstairs and changed in to my shorts and tank top, grabbed my Ipod and strapped on my sneakers. I thought about my dream as I ran and ended up running about 10 miles one way before i realized it and turned and headed back to the house.

See When i invented the shower phone this company gave me more money than i could ever imagine for the rights to market the bugger and I still get royalties so I bought a house just off campus and Andi moved in with me. Its a two story house with a warm caramel paint job on the outside and every color imaginable inside. I love to get creative with the walls and Andi does too. Dryw does the yard work and handy man jobs around the house for us in exchange for letting him crash there several nights a week.

I showered and grabbed my baggy Levis that were shredded and a old white men's t shirt and sat at the kitchen table and started surfing the web for information on my parents. Aeryn and Graeme Schidler.  I couldn't find much just that they disappeared 12 years ago with no trace. The strange thing was I could find no trace of them being born or where they were from. I know that there was no Death certificate because they never found them. I remember going from foster home to foster home until high school when i managed to stay in one long enough to make friends and actually have a boyfriend. We dated all thru high school but prom time came and i couldn't afford a dress so i told him i would go in jeans and he dumped me. He actually went with Brittani Howards a cheerleader with no morals. I showed up anyways and was sorely disappointed. Anyways after that night I decided that I would go to college and never look back.  Things always came easy to me. I could see things one time and have them memorized.  Came in handy with school work.  Andi was my first dorm mate and somehow we managed to be dorm mates up until i bought the house.

"Hey Nerd. What's for breakfast?"

"Hey brat didn't hear you come in. Did you stay with Dryw last night?"

"Duh. Of course. Whatcha doing there?"

"Looking for information on my birth parents. Coming up empty. All I can find is information about when they went missing no birth records no job history nothing. Oh and what do you mean giving mr. Hot pants my number?"

"Mr.Hot pants????? Oh you mean Eaghan. He asked I figured you wouldn't mind. He seems like a nice guy."

"Yeah somethings off tho. Maybe not with him maybe with me I don't know. I forget things and lose track of time around him."
