•Chapter 18: Drew?

"Here's your order maam." I said, smiling at the lady. She thanked me and I went back where Shane was standing.

I sighed, running my fingers through my hair "Are you ok?"

I nodded "Yeah just tired."

"How's living with the two hotties?" She teased and then chuckling as I gave her a glare.

"It's fine."

"And how's your boyfriend, hmm?"

I scoffed "He is not my boyfriend Shane."

"Oh really? But you were not here yesterday because you took care of him, right? Friends don't do that boo."

"I'm just being nice." I said rolling my eyes.

"But you do like him."

"Yeah..."

"And he do like you too I'm sure of it."

"Oh shut up Shane. A guy like him can never like me." I shook my head.

"What? Don't say that. Just trust me I'm sure of it he has feelings for you." She said while wiggling her brows making me chuckle.

"Shut up." I hit her arm playfully.

"Oooh mom look! There's a cute dog outside!"

Dog?

I quickly looked outside and a dog was scratching the glass the door.

My eyes went wide when I realized who was it "D-Drew?"

"Drew?" Shane said.

He's alive? But I thought....

I watched as the dog stopped and stared at me. A few moments, he started running and with that I quickly ran toward the door, pushing it open.

"Drew!" I called as I ran to follow him.

I tried calling him again but he did not stop or even look at me. I heard a loud horn and someone quickly grabbed me. We both fell on the ground and I shrieked.

Someone groaned and I opened my eyes to look at the person.

I gasped "Jay, are you alright?" then I quickly stood up and helped him up.

"Yeah..." He said rubbing the back of his head and then winced in pain "I just bumped my head into the ground. How about you are you alright?" He asked worriedly.

I nodded "Yes Jay. What happened? How--"

"A car was about to hit you! Are you crazy!?" He suddenly said a little louder making me jump.

"W-What? I don't know I..."

He sighed "I thought you're working but why are you here alone?"

"I..I saw Drew." I whispered.

"Drew? But he is not here anymore."

"But I really did saw Drew, Jay!" I said stubbornly.

He groaned, rubbing his forehead "Oh gosh...Are you sure you're alright, Rose?"

I bit my lip and looked down. Did I really saw Drew or am I just hallucinating?

"Look, I'll bring you home. I think you need to rest for a while." He said as he held my shoulder.

"But--"

"No buts Rose. Come on we'll go back to the restaurant and I'll tell Kelly and Shane about this, ok?"
