•Chapter 6: Feeling of Hurt

She scratched my ear making me waggle my tail happily.

"You're so cute." she said and I barked.

She leaned onto me, pressing her lips softly on the tip of my nose. I felt something on my body making me jump a little.

What was that?

"Come on Drew let's go somewhere." I looked up at her confusingly "Don't worry buddy." She put something on my collar.

We leaved the house and went walking to the side street. We stopped in an unfamiliar place, but I remember when I was in heaven I heard them call this park, I think?

Rose stopped and grabbed something at the man. I looked up at the sign, it reads.

ICE CREAM

She sat down on a bench still holding her ice cream and watched her while licking her ice cream.

But then I smelled something evil around us. This is not good. I looked around carefully. I need to be alert.

"What's wrong Drew?" I heard her asked.

I heard someone growling behind me so I turned around, facing this huge beast that has a black furr. I growled back when I saw his eyes turned into red.

"Shoo!" Rose stood on her seat, walking infront of me "Back off doggy!"

But it did not listen to her. The creature started walking toward her "I said go away doggy." She said in confident trying not to sound like scared.

The beast quickly jumped, tackling her and then she fell down on the ground hitting her head on the bench.

I looked at her and whimpered "Mary!"

Her eyes are shot closed. I nudged her head but she did not even move.

I looked at the beast and growled angrily at him.

"Another angel from God huh?"

"Yes and I have to finish my job."

He smiled evily and tried to tackle me but I quickly dodged.

Vir.

My body started to glow and I was already in my human form. I can either fight like human or in my angel form, Ryan told me.

"I have no mercy for you because you are evil." then I grabbed my ring and pulled it off on my finger. I watched as it glow into blue and it turned into a holy knife.

"Oh shut up angel!"

He jumped on me and tried to bite my neck but I quickly blocked with my arm and his teeth was already clamp on my flesh. I winced as I felt something strange feeling on my arm. I raised the knife and stabbed him on his back. He whimpered and fell down on the ground.

He tried to stand up but he was too weak right now. He slowly laid down on the ground and I watched him until his last breath. His body slowly turned into ashes and disappeared in the wind.

A bird flew infront of me and stood on my shoulder.

"Justin? Are you alright?"

"Ryan?" I whispered "That's your form?"

He nodded. I heard Rose mumbling about something. I knelt down and I saw that her eyes are half open. A few second, her eyes shut closed again.

"Is she going to be alright?"

"Yeah she is just conscious from hitting her head on the bench."

I sighed but then I groaned as I felt something on my arm again.

"You're hurt."

"Is this really the feeling of hurt?"

"Yes Justin when someone hit you in any of your body you'll feel that."

"Oh."

"Now carry the girl to her home."

I carefully carried her on my arms even though my arm is kinda sore "What will I do if she woke up?"

"We will explain to her at the house."

I slowly opened my eyes and blinked a few times to adjust my view. I groaned as I sat up, holding my throbbing head.

"Be careful." I looked up at the person and I saw Ryan.

"What happened?" I asked him.

"You hit your head on the bench while this huge dog attacked you."

"Oh. Where's Drew is he ok?" I said while looking around. I saw Drew sitting on the floor and I notice a wound on his left arm "Aww my buddy are you ok?"

He just nodded and waggled his tail.

"I can take care of him─" I cut him off.

"No it's ok I'll do it."

"But are you sure─"

"Yes it's fine Ryan." I half smiled at him "You're always saving me." I said, giggling.

He shrugged "I think I might be your hero." he gave me a winked "But thank your dog too, he even saved you."

I heard Drew whimpering and he was trying to stand "Oh Drew."

"Rose I have to go now. Are you sure you're fine by yourself?" Ryan asked.

I chuckled "Of course silly, I'm a big girl now."

He rolled his eyes playfully and chuckled "Ok ok. So goodbye, be careful next time."

I nodded "I will thank you."

He stood up, walked toward the door, opening it and before stepping out he waved at me and then closing it.

I knelt down to examined Drew's arm "Aww poor boy. I'll clean your wound ok?" he whimpered again and then I kissed his forehead.

I stood up and went to the bathroom to get the first aid kit. I even got a water to clean his wound and dry cloth.

"Can you climbed here at the couch?" He shook his head "I'll just carry you instead."

I groaned as I carried him. Sure Drew is a heavy dog. I held his arm carefully. I soaked the cloth on the clean water and rubbed it on his wound to clean all the blood. After cleaning his wound I put the gauze around his arm.

I smiled and pecked his head "There. Now I want you to behave there ok? I'll get your food."

I saw his eyes sparkled. He then barked, waggling his tail happily.
