•Chapter 8: Who is he?

I opened my eyes when I felt someone is stroking my back. Rose gave me a soft smile and then pecking my head.

"Goodmorning buddy, are you feeling ok?"

Yes...

I nodded.

"Good. I'm going to stay here with you all day, how's that?"

I barked while wagging my tail.

She don't have to because I can take care of myself.

She giggled "You're so cute. Are you hungry?" I nodded "Well I'll get you some food."

Well it's weird to say that I'm loving dog food even though I'm not really a dog because it really taste so good.

"Justin."

I turned my head on the right where I saw Ryan in his bird form on the opened window.

"Ryan, what are you doing here?"

"Just checking on you Justin. How's your arm?"

"It's fine. Can you sense something evil today?"

He shook his head "At the mean time, nothing but we have to be alert. Humans can't sense evil but we can. They thought it was just an accident that was coming but they don't know dark angels want them dead to get their souls and lead them to the dark world."

"Our history is way too confusing..." I said.

"Someday you will understand everything."

"Drew here you go."

Ryan quickly flew away and I looked up at Rose. She put the bowl with a full of dog food on it infront of me.

I barked. Thank you.

She chuckled "Now eat buddy."

I heard ringing and Rose pulled the phone inside her pocket. Ryan told me that he gave this to her so if she is in trouble she can call him anytime and I'm thankful about that idea.

"Ok..." she sighed and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. She sat down beside me, petting my head "Sorry buddy I can't stay with you. They need me at work. Are you ok all alone?"

I barked.

She smiled "I need to get ready now."

I'm not going to lie if I told you I'm really bored. I want to go outside the house to explore this place or go to Ryan's apartment.

"Vir."

I looked down at my hands and wtached as they started glowing. When I am fully in my human form, I went to the bathroom, staring myself at the mirror and then fixing my jacket.

I stepped out of the house without the hoodie over my head because I just want to be normal for once just like Ryan.

I looked around. Where should I go? Ryan or...

"Rose...But I don't know where she was working. How can I find her?" I asked myself.

I remember something. I can use my mind to locate her. I have that ability because Ryan told me that each guardian angel are connected to there own humans.

I closed my eyes and blocked all the things around me so I can concentrate.

A few minutes, I already found Rose. She was serving some foods and I noticed that she is wearing a different clothes.

I saw a Harvey's Restaurant on the wall. So that's where she is now.

I opened my eyes "But I don't know how to get there..."

Should I ask someone?

I started walking and I passed a group of girls infront of this school. Actually they are teenagers. I can try to ask them if they know this place I'm looking for.

I cleared my throat "Excuse me."

They all turned around and their eyes widened. It looks like they we're so surprise when they saw me.

"Oh my god he is so hot..." the girl whispered.

Hot?

"Uhm can I ask something ladies?"

"Of course." the other girl said, smiling brightly.

"Do you know where the Harvey's Restaurant is?"

They all nodded and gave me the directions. I smiled at them and they all gasped.

"Oh my gosh he is such a cutie."

Huh?

"Thank you very much ladies." I said politely before walking away from them.

What's up with those girls? I'm hot? How did they know?

I touched my forehead "I am not hot."

I stood infront of the glass door, staring inside the place while my hands are shoved inside my pocket and then I saw Rose. She was leaning on the wall  while rubbing her head. She looks so tired...

I looked at her worriedly. I keep on looking at her watching her every move just to make sure she is ok.

A few minutes, my eyes widened when she looked at my direction. She raised a brow and then started walking toward me. I quickly turned around, walking away.

She can't see me not in this form.

I saw someone outside the restaurant. I noticed that he keeps on looking here inside. What's up with him?

I stepped out of the restaurant and he quickly walked away.

"Sir! Wait up!" I yelled "Do you want to go inside-wait!" I run after him trying to catch him but he was way too fast than me.

He turned left and I followed him. I stopped when I was facing a wall. What the...where did he go? He can teleport? Or is he a ghost? Who is that guy? Ok that's really weird. He can't just disappear like that. Maybe I'm just hallucinating because I'm really tired.

"Woof!"

I turned around and I saw Drew standing infront of me while his left arm is tilted.

"Drew what are you doing here?" I knelt down, scratching his ear "Did you follow me here?"

He barked again and then he licked my cheek making me giggle "But I told you to stay at the house big guy because you need to rest." I said in disbelief.

He whimpered, bowing his head. I patted his head, smiling at him "It's ok buddy I'm not mad. But I really need to bring you home."

But how?

I grabbed my phone on the front of my pocket, pulling it out and then dialing Ryan's number. I know this is a little embarassing but I don't have a choice.

"Hello?"

I stared at Drew in awe because he was really so adorable and then looking at his brown eyes "Uhm Ryan I need your help..."
