•Chapter 20: Date

Since last week Justin and Jake had been acting weird. I mean for the first time in forever Justin is not trying to pull a fight with Jake so yeah that's weird for me.

"So Jake you still don't remember anything?" I asked him.

"No." He said not even giving me an eye contact.

I raised a brow "Oh. Where's Justin?" He shrugged.

Ok...see that?

"Okay I should keep going now. Just stay here for a while and wait for Justin."

I stood up from my chair but then I was ready to step out of the house when Jake suddenly called me. That was a first.

"Rose!"

I turned around fully facing him "What is it?"

"I have to tell you something about---"

"I'm back."

Jake suddenly stopped when Justin came in. Justin gave my forehead a peck.

"Where have you been?"

"Just somewhere. Did I interrupt something?" He asked as he examined the both of us.

"Jake just want to tell me something but you kinda you know..."

"Oh really?" He carefully looked at Jake "What is it about? You can tell me too you know."

"Uhm n-nothing just forget it. Its nothing important."

"Are you sure, Jake?" Justin said giving him a look that I don't quiet understand.

I sighed "Justin he said its nothing so just drop it." I grabbed his shoulder "I should be going. I'll be late."

"I'll give you a ride."

I didn't argue with him anymore and just nodded my head.

"Bye Jake. If you want to go somewhere just ask Justin or Ryan, okay?" He nodded and then saying 'bye' in a hush tone.

"Let's go."

"Justin?"

"Hmm?"

"What happened to the both of you?"

"What?"

"With you and Jake." I said in a duh tone "You two have been acting weird lately."

"We always act weird at each other because first I hate him and we hated each other."

I rolled my eyes "That's the thing you would make a fight with him but right now its like you two are being so quiet? See the difference."

He shrugged "Do we have to always fight?"

I just stayed quiet and let him continue talking.

"Its just that he is getting boring that's why I'll just ignore him but of course I still don't trust him and... I still hate him."

"Okay Jay stop with the word hate."

"Hey Rose, can I take you somewhere tonight?" He said changing the subject.

Nice move Justin, but I will let it slip just this time.

"Where are we going?"

"It's a secret."

I groaned and he laughed at me.

"Is this a date?" I asked as I looked away and then blushing.

"If you want to."
