•Chapter 2: That Was Close

I felt someone licking my face.

I groaned as I opened my eyes and I saw Drew. My head hurts like someone is throwing a bricks repeatedly on my head.

"Ow..." I moaned.

I sat up while rubbing my temples. Drew started barking.

"What's up buddy. Are you hungry?" I asked.

He nodded.

I sighed "Aww I'm sorry, I have no food left but I'll buy us some food."

He barked while waggling his tail.

I stood up and went to the bathroom to clean myself. After this I'll buy something to eat.

I bought two piece of bread for me and some cheap dog food on a store for Drew.

"Done boy?" I asked him.

He started waggling his tail.

Oh gosh I forgot, I still have to work! Ugh this is not good! I quickly glanced down at my wrist watch.

7:41am

Dang! My work starts at eight I only have twenty minutes left to go there!

I quickly went to my room and changed into a white v-neck shirt and a jean pants.

"Drew I need to go now. Be a good boy ok?" I said as I patted his head.

He barked.

"Bye bye buddy! Guard the house for me." I quickly stepped outside and run as fast as I can.

"Ten minutes left, great!" I mumbled.

When I was already infront of the restaurant, I quickly got inside where my locker is. I changed into my uniform and fixed my hair into a ponytail.

"Morning, Rose."

I looked around and smiled "Morning too Kelly."

I heard the bell on the door rang, that means there's a customer. I saw this cute guy walked in so approached him.

"Goodmorning, right this way sir." He sat down on the chair and I gave him the menu. I waited a few minutes for him to get his order.

"Two pancakes with a chocolate and strawberry syrup on it and one hot chocolate please?"

I nodded and wrote it down on my pad "That's all sir?"

"Yep."

"Ok, I'll be right back to give your order." I said and before I could turn around he gave me a wink.

Ok?

I rolled my eyes. While waiting for the food, Kelly walked beside me "Sure that guy is cute."

I chuckled as I shook my head "Yeah."

When the food is ready, I lifted the tray and went back to the guy to give his order "Here's your order sir."

"Thanks." he said and winked again.

Seriously? Is he trying to flirt with me cause that's not gonna affect me.

I forced a smile at him and walked away.

"Take care Rose, goodnight." Kelly smiled at me and gave me a hug.

"Thanks you too, night."

Then I exited the restaurant. It's already eight─oh I forgot about Drew he haven't eaten anything. Poor doggy.
