A/N: Just to note, a lot of these quotes in the beginning will be from me and my own thought box. Some may be what I found, but 99.999% will be paraphrased. My full first name is Yamesia by the way.

"It's gorgeous bro'. If you don't get that, I will." August told Malcoln as they examined a 14k, gold engagement ring at Angel's shop.

They've been at Angel's Jewels for the past hour, looking for the perfect engagement ring for his beautiful jewel Paris.

Malcolm left out of the house after Paris headed off to work around eleven-thirty am.

He didn't tell her where he was exactly going to be today, only thing he mentioned was hanging out with her dad, Angel, David, and August.

Afterwards, he would go pick up Milianna from school at twelve.  Since she claimed there wasn't much work for seniors to do in classes today, her and Malcolm figured that it would be good to spend some time together.

Malcolm chuckled at August.

"You laughin' and I'm dead serious." He told him.

Malcolm turned to him, a slight grin was spread across his face. "And who you gon' give it to?"

"My mama duh."

"Of course." Malcolm turned back to the counter where Angel was waiting on his final answer.

"Or I'ma wear it." August said again, truthfully.

Mr. Vaughn, Angel, and Malcolm side-eyed him, wondering if he was serious or not.

"Man don't wear that shit." Angel spoke.

"Aye if he don't get it I am." August said, throwing his hands up in surrender.

"Alright son." Mr. Vaughn said, placing his hand on Malcolm's shoulder. "I think this could top the cake for my precious baby girl."

Malcolm looked up at Angel, Mr. Vaughn, David, August, then the ring. He let out a deep breathe before nodding his head in approval.

"Yes. My boy." August clapped, along with Mr. Vaughn, David, and Angel.

They were excited that he had finally decided on the ring, but most importantly proposing to the love of his life. The infamous Paris Vaughn who everyone in Redwood adored and loved the most.

She and her mother, Precious, were the natural sweethearts of the city. Everyone believed they deserved more than the ground they walked on, but the honor of being the head of the city. With approval of the mayor, it was made official.

"She's gonna love it." Malcolm finally spoke.

Paris strutted outside of her salon, untying the apron from around her waist and neck, placing it in her arm.

She took out the keys from her Neiman Marcus bag, hitting the unlock button and climbing inside. She placed her keys into her purse, then sat her apron along with her purse in the passenger seat.

She hit the start button on her car, starting it up automatically. She put the car into reverse and backed out of her parking spot of the salon.

Plugging her iPhone 6S into the the auxiliary cord, she went to the music app, Spinrilla, scrolling through her favorite playlist.  Stopping at a red light, she looked back down at her phone and hit the first song she saw.
