"A time to play is a time to turn up." -Yamesia

The next morning...
Malcolm sat at the island counter, sipping from his big jug of sweet tea. He was scrolling aimlessly through his Instagram feed to make time pass by. Paris was on her way back from D.C. and being thrilled to see his girlfriend after so long isn't even the right word to use.
Although, Malcolm contained other things on his mind, such as the Brielle situation, he still pushed them further back to conceal a moment of love that him and Paris will soon share with each other.
He still had to come to terms with himself on a few things, all because he didn't want this situation to backfire on him like the last time. Which is why he's so skeptical about whether or not he's still going to keep the secret away from her. It's best he shouldn't though, due to what happened last time, and so Paris can be alert on his new student who's tempting to make passes at her boyfriend.
Malcolm thought that the less she knew the better, but he failed to realize was that Paris had already found out about the entire situation...from a very good source.
Danielle
The alarm goes off, signaling that someone opened either the front door or back door. He sat his tea on the counter, stuffed his phone in his pocket, and made his way into the front section of the house.
His eyes lit up once he saw Paris. He picked her up and swung her around, placing her back on the ground he kissed her face all over.
"Oh my fuckin' goodness, I've missed yo' ass like crazy, ma'." Malcolm told her, kissing her lips for the millionth time.
She smiled hesitantly. "I missed you too."
The look on her face rose a red flag and set off many signals in his head. He wondered why she was so standoffish right now.
"Really?" He asked, a bit stunned because of her behavior. "Doesn't sound like it."
She unbuttoned her pea coat and proceeded to hang up her coat on the coat rack of the living room. Malcolm still never understood why she chose to buy it, knowing they had a closet downstairs for clothing to be placed.
Malcolm picked up her suitcase and followed her upstairs to their master bedroom.
Placing it on the floor, Paris proceeded to the door to go back downstairs.
He knew his future wife, he felt when she was always sad and or mad. Something was surely bothering her at the moment, but he knew Paris, she didn't wanna talk about.
Less he knew, Danielle had already spoken to Paris about August and Malcolm's conversation she had heard while being butt dialed.
Paris was livid about the situation, more so with the fact that he planned on keeping it from her. Knowing what happened last time, and how embarrassing the situation was, her blood boiled hardly like boiled eggs.
"So Malcolm..." Paris started, pulling out a packet of bacon, carton of sausages, ground beef, pancakes, milk, and rice.
"Yes?" He asked, leaning across the island counter.
"So...I hear that your new student has taken a liking to you." She said, putting pancake mix into a big red bowl.
