"A time alone with ma' baby is one willin' to die for." -Malcolm Stewart

That Monday morning...

Tossing her purse over her arm, Milianna began her walk down the hallway towards the bathroom. She had late arrival to school, and the bell for second block had just rung. Kids were bustling and rushing to get to class, some were hanging out in the commons area, and others were busy running in and out of the office.

Since her best friend's arrest she's had the freedom to do whatever she wanted without having to worry about her. Even spend more time with Rekya.

Rekya was a junior in high school, and also worked two jobs throughout the week and weekend, making time for herself and others difficult to bare. But after her cousin was arrested at her house, she had quit her job the next week after saving up enough money for the next year.

Entering the girls bathroom, Milianna looked up to see three girls looking at her. She immediately recognized them as being Teejay's brother's girlfriend, and her posse of best friends.

Milianna had no problem with neither of them, but they seemed to have one with them over Brielle. Brielle was a trouble maker in school and was always into fights after school with many females, which is why she had possessed so much time into being a pest in Malcolm and Paris's life.

"Hey Millie." One of the girl's, Anaya, greeted her.

"Hey Nya." Milianna greeted back. She bypassed the girls and headed towards the last stall.

"So, I heard ya' best friend gettin' life. How you feel?" Another girl asked, Tommy's girlfriend Martini.

Heading into the stall, Milianna closed the door behind her and proceeded to urinate.

She always managed to wonder why her mother would name her after an alcoholic drink.

"Uhhh, how am I supposed to feel, Martini? Can you answer me that?" Milianna said back.  Standing up, she fixed her clothes and flushed the toilet with her foot.

"I don't know. Hurt, mad, angry. I'd be pissed if my friend was spending the rest of her life in jail, especially when she has a kid. Why don't you feel that way, Milianna?"

Milianna grabbed her purse from the hanger and unlocked the bathroom stall.  She exited and made vicious eye contact with Martini, hysterically laughing her face.

Approaching the sink, she turned the hot water on and placed soap in her had from the soap dispenser. "Maybe I do. Maybe I don't." Milianna shrugged.

"So why don't you?" Martini's friend, Zamanda, asked.

"I don't know, Zam." Milianna blandly responded.

She had a clue as to why they asked her about Brielle and why isn't she showing any ounce of emotion, but all Milianna felt for Brielle as a best friend went right out the window when she found out why she was being locked away.

She always told Brielle how she felt about her brother and Paris, and that if anyone was to ever mess with their relationship she would be wringing their neck out to dry and break.  But she looked Brielle in her eyes and complete hatred took over her body instantly.
