Chapter 6: Old Pals

They chopped of the heads of the monsters that had captured me and quickly untied the ropes from my wrists and legs. I didn't know if they remembered me or not. Were they the two men from inside the motel room talking about the girl? Questions filled my brain about these two boys I haven't seen since my junior year in high school.

"C'mon lets go!" The one I assumed as Dean grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the barn into the darkness.

"Alright Sammy want to give her the talk." Dean patted Sam's back and he came up to me. Did they really not remember me?

"Do you not remember me?" I snarled at them. They both gave looks and finally Deans eyes lit up and a few seconds later so did Sam's.

"Jayden!" Dean picked me up and Sam gave me a great big bear hug.

"I told you." Sam's voice was really deep now and he was like 7 feet tall now! I have them a warm grin and they returned with one. But there was something off about them, they both had sorrow and regret in their eyes.

"So what's new with the Winchester boys?" I asked them.

"Well we have a cool place that we can take you to if you want." Dean said as we started walking out of the barn.

"Yeah sure." I smiled, my car was parked really far away so they drove me to it.

"You still have your dads car!" Dean smiled and stroked it.

"Of course I do!" I laughed feeling happy that I had reunited with my childhood friends. Then I remembered as I got back into my dads old car I remembered the day after my dad died. How Sam kissed me before he left. How I never saw him after fifteen years. All of those memories came back to me.

I turned on the radio to keep me from crying. The song was 'Heat of the Moment' by Asia. I played it really loud before Sam came over and yelled at me because of the song. What was the deal with it? I watched as the Winchesters car drove away and I followed it. I smiled as I watched the Impala drove.

I was finally a little bit happy.
