The rest of the day was spent talking to Fireclaw and meeting the rest of the Titanium Winglet. There was a NightWing named Star-sky, a RainWing named Indigo, a SandWing named Oasis (apparently named after Queen Oasis), a MudWing named Dusty, and an IceWing named Puffin. They were all rather friendly. Well, everyone but Puffin. She always had a scowl on her face and she seemed so tense all the time. It was like she despised being there.

Indigo was really, wait no, EXTREMELY, active. He couldn't stop moving and asked questions every ten seconds, whether they were stupid ones or not. Star-sky was very nice. She attempted to cheer up Puffin but earned a slap in the snout instead. Dusty, like Star-sky, was a comforting dragon, but his grammar was poor and Hurricane had to ask him to repeat statements every now and then.

When it was time to sleep, Hurricane took the pool, Fireclaw took the smoothed section of the  cave next to Hurricane's pool, Indigo took the Hammock and so forth. The pool, to Hurricane's delight, had a sandy bottom with seaweed in it.

Looks like Mom prepared this for me thought Hurricane. Apparently she remembers what I like.

He looked over at Fireclaw. She had curled up into a ball and her unusually silver claws still glimmered in the torch light. Fireclaw was the last thing Hurricane saw, before he entered into the world of dreams.

Hurricane woke up refreshed and active. Everyone else was awake too.

"I just can't WAIT for our first class!" exclaimed Indigo. "Dusty, what is it again?"

"Small Group Discushon class," said Dusty, making the 'o' in discussion it's short sound. "Den I beleev after dat we hav' flyin'"

"I love flying," said Fireclaw, spreading her wings. "After all, I am a SKYWing."

                      "Kind of obvious," chuckled Hurricane.

They were greeted by Sunny as they entered into the cave. "Welcome to your Small Group Discussion Class!" greeted Sunny warmly. "I can't wait to get to know all of you!"

They gathered around the cave, sitting in a circle. "OK then," said Sunny. "Would you like to go first NightWing?"

"Um, all right," said Star-sky. "My name is Star-sky, I can have visions of the future but I can't read minds. Plus I'm an animus like Fireclaw and Hurricane."

This startled everyone in the cave. "We're not alone," whispered Fireclaw to Hurricane.

Indigo went next, then Dusty, then Oasis, then Puffin, who said nothing but her name and her favorite color.

When it was Fireclaw's turn, she said, " My name is Fireclaw. My favorite color is orange and I'm an animus like Star-sky. I am also Queen Ruby's niece."

THAT Hurricane didn't know. "Is that so?" said Sunny. "Anyway, it is your turn Hurricane."

"OK," said Hurricane. "My name is Hurricane, I am the son of Tsunami and Riptide, and I'm an animus like Fireclaw and Star-sky. Also my favorite color is blue and my hatching day is in 5 weeks."

"Well," said Sunny. "Now we know a little about each other! Unfortunately, it is stormy outside so your flying class has been canceled. Instead, art class is next!"

The art cave was neat. A roaring fire stood in the middle of the room and there were multiple colors in it.

This is the life thought Hurricane. I'll go talk to Ripple and Splash after lunch and tell them how things are going.

He glanced over at Fireclaw who was examining the different types of brushes.

I don't know why thought Hurricane but I REALLY like Fireclaw.
