Hurricane could not believe his ears. Typhoon could not be his brother! Id he had a long lost brother, he was sure Tsunami or Riptide would have told him!
Typhoon smiled. "And it just gets better," he said. "We are not just brothers, but twin brothers! I wouldn't have argued about me coming out first. Talk about losing a race by six seconds."
Hurricane glared at Typhoon, ignoring the pain that screamed at him from his wings. "You are no brother of mine," he spat through gritted teeth. He was just saying that to feel better, but he knew, somehow, that Typhoon's words were indeed true.
"Oh," replied Typhoon, "I very much am." He raised his spear over his head to land a killing blow. "I never wanted to do this Hurricane," he said. Hurricane was surprised to somehow sense that he wasnt lying! "I have always wanted to live a peaceful life in the Sea Kingdom with our sisters. Sadly, that cannot be. My master has too much a hold on me to not do what he says. I'm really sorry."
He was just about to land the blow when he screamed in pain. He turned around to find what had hurt him. Hurricane was shocked to see Thunderclap clinging to his back, ripping his talons into his back. Typhoon whirled around again, causing Thunderclap to fly off his back and land on the hard floor with a crack as his front legs broke. Hurricane grew infuriated.
Suddenly, he found himself standing straight up, ignoring the pain in his wings as well as all over his body. He charged at Typhoon and landed five, fierce consecutive blows to his back, breaking some of the ribs. Typhoon, once again, howled in pain and fell to the ground, unconscious. Four NightWings suddenly came out of nowhere, and carried Typhoon out of the cave and to the surface. Hurricane suddenly felt weak in his limbs, then blacked out.
Hurricane woke up to find himself in a tent. He was really dazed. Where am I? he thought. Why dont I remember anything? Oh wait, I remember now. I was fighting Puffin then Typhoon when...
He shot up in fright and was met with enormous pain. He yelled in agony and found Fire-Claw in the tent. "Lay down squid brain!" she scolded. "Those wings dont take just a day to heal you know!" He did as he was told, and lay back down. Just then, the rest of his friends filed into the tent. "W-what happened?" question Hurricane.
"What happened?" exclaimed Indigo. "We won! After you and Thunderclap beat up that stupid SeaWing general, the entire army fled like an army of ants from a rotten mango!"
"Wow," said Hurricane. "Did me and Thunderclap do that?"
"Yep!" said Oasis, who, for the first time in Hurricane's life, looked happy. "Dont worry about Splash, she is safe and sound at Queen Moorhen's palace. Oh, and you are, like, a MudWing legend now."
"You never cease to amaze me," said Fire-Claw. Then she did the most unexpected thing in Hurricane's life. She kissed him right on the mouth. Hurricane could feel himself redden, but it vanished as quick as it came. A feeling of peace settled over him. He had achieved his goal. He had rescued his sister. But he knew it still wasn't time to head back to Jade Mountain. It turned out that Star-Sky's prophecy was accurate. He had found put that he was the leader of the New Seven. How he has figured that out, he had no clue. But the Dragonlord is out there, lurking in the shadows, and Hurricane knew that he had to somehow find the rest of the New Seven, before it was too late...
