Hurricane woke up with a start. He shivered all over as he remembered the dream he had just seen. Splash in a cage, bleeding cuts all over her torso, Puffin cowering in a dark corner of a cave, and an evil voice calling to him saying, Your sister is doomed. You may have saved Ripple, but unless you come here in surrender, your beloved Splash may never live to see the ocean ever again! This troubled the young SeaWing prince. Who was the person speaking to him?
He shook off the feeling and went to the Prey Center for breakfast. When he arrived, the cave was in a gloomier mood than any of the days before. Fire-Claw looked angry. Very angry. Ripple was absolutely devastated. Her eyes were still tear stained from crying. But Hurricane could sense an inner rage inside her.
Just as he started making his way toward Ripple, Hammerhead and Zodi came running to him. He noticed something familiar around Zodi's neck, but didnt have time to recall as Hammerhead neared him.
"Im sorry about Splash," said Hammerhead solemnly. "No one should treat a SeaWing princess like that."
All Hurricane did was sigh. He couldnt bring himself to talk about the incident. And he definitely knew Ripple didnt want to talk about it either.
The day was spent pacing, worrying, and comforting Ripple. Luckily, it went by fast and Hurricane was soon in his cave with the rest of the Titanium Winglet. Well, all of it excpet Puffin, who Star-sky had guessed was an animus. Then, Hurricane remembered what Star-sky had said last night and remembered. Star-sky had spoken a prophecy!
When he mentioned this to Star-sky, she looked troubled.
"I did?" she asked.
"Sure did," said Fire-Claw.
"Wow." muttered Star-sky.
As Hurricane laid down on his sleeping spot, an idea struck him like lightning, and for the first time in hours, he felt hope.
"Im going to the rainforest," siad Hurricane suddenly.
All eyes were on him.
"Why?!?" asked Indigo.
"To rescue my sister of course!" replied Hurricane
"Why would Splash be at the rainforest?" questioned Fire-Claw.
"Im not saying that she is there. Im going there to visit King Deathbringer. He has been all over Pyhria. I can use my animus powers to make him see what I saw in my dream, and he may know where the location is!"
There was an awkward silence.
"Well, Im going with you." said Fire-Claw.
Everyone else agreed too.
"Well that is settled!" said Hurricane. "Pack up guys, we leave now."
With that, everyone started gathering supplies from the cave. Hurricane packed his helmet into a pack and threw it around his neck. It was uncomfortable, but it would have to do.
When everyone was ready, Hurricane lead them to the main hall, and from there, to the outside world.
The night air was cool and refreshing as he took off. A slight sprinkle tickled his wings, making it all the more enjoyable. Indigo shot to the front of the row of dragons, turned right and called, "This way to the rainforest!"
Hurricane couldnt shake off the exileration he was feeling. This trip would get him one step closer to rescuing Splash, he knew it.
Next stop, the RainForest.
