Amanda just stood there unable to move or think. Her? A child of Athena? It's not like she got super good grades. As and B's filled her report card. She did love to read. She just stood there. So many emotions running through her body. Fear, anger, happiness, and embarrassment all at once. Chiron was still waiting for an answer. So she just nodded her head and in a weak voice said. "Who will go with me?"

Chiron's eyes got sad. As if he had seen things like that before and it hadn't ended pretty. "Well since the only two sons of the sea god are Adam and Percy and Athena made it clear that it wasn't Adam I believe that Adam is one of them and u can pick the Apollo child that will go with you."

Well that was an easy choice she would pick Lizzy of course.

"Lizzy. I choose Lizzy." Amanda said with a little more power in her voice.

"okay then. Adam, Lizzy and Amanda will be going on this quest! They will have two days to pack and train. Tomorrow we will find out where they need to go. Does anyone have a problem with this?" Chiron's voice dared anyone to speak up. No one did. With that Amanda went into the Athena cabin. one of the campers gave her a bed. she ran to get her duffle bag from the big house and put it in the cabin. what will she do? Where will she go? Amanda sat on the bed and just looked into space for a good hour. Then Lizzy knocked on the door and peaked in.

"hey, Amanda? They guys and Annabeth are still going to the lake. They think it may clam us all. Do you want to go? It's the only place you haven't seen and your still in your bathing suit." Lizzy said as she sat next to Amanda. Maybe it would clear her head. And plus it would be good to get to know a little more about Ad

"Okay I'll go." Lizzy then got a big smile on her face.

"Awesome then what are you waiting for!? Come on!"

When the girls got to the lake Amanda got her breath taken away. The lake was beautiful, just plan beautiful. Percy and Annabeth waved. Lizzy jumped right in. Amanda didn't she looked around for a little but she couldn't find Adam. She looked left and right and was about to ask Percy were his brother went when she felt two hands hug her waist. Then the person yelled "JUMP." Adam threw Amanda and himself into the water below.
