Corinne's POV
Beep! Beep! Beep!
My alarm clock hummed loud and clear this morning.
'Great 6:00' I thought sarcastically.
I almost didn't get out of bed until I realized what today was. With in five seconds I was out of my pajamas and in the shower. Immediately after I ran straight to my closet.

"I have nothing nice to wear!" I thought out loud in a harsh tone.
Finally I decided on a black pencil skirt that went done to my knees and a blue peplum top.

"Professional. Right?" I looked towards my Portuguese water dog puppy, Luna, thinking she'd respond.

After I had quickly done my makeup, hair, brushed my teeth, and put on my heels, I grabbed my keys and was out of my apartment door with twenty minutes to spare. Since I had time and my new place of employment was only five minutes away I decided to make a quick trip to Starbucks before I headed to work.

As arrived at my favorite cafe I ordered my regular: a grande cappuccino with foam and a piece of coffee cake. As I made my way out of the door my morning felt complete.

When I pulled into the parking lot of the FBI unit located in Quantico, Virginia my jitters set in. I took a deep breath and walked through the doors of my new future.

"Ah, Corinne Jennings ,age 23, the new agent assigned to the BAU. Here is your id, FBI credentials, and a map of the building. Good luck sweetheart!" If everyone in the building was as nice as the lady at the front desk i'd do just fine here i thought to myself.

With a shaky hand I hit the up button for The elevator and almost instinctively I hit the button for the sixth floor, where I would become a new profiler for the Behavioral Analysis Unit. Ever since that man had saved me four years ago I
Had decided to enroll myself into the FBI academy instead of becoming a pediatrician. And now my new dream was beginning.

When I reached the end of my elevator journey and took a deep breath and started to make my way to my new bosses office. The floor I was now on consisted of a bullpen with four desks, three main offices and one office for the technical analysis. I was headed to SSA Aaron Hotchner's office, he was the unit chief for the BAU.

He greeted me with an outstretched hand, "Welcome Agent Jennings. I hope you adjust well to the team," he said this with little to no emotion," I'll introduce you to the rest of the team then we will meet in the round table room to discuss our new case."

"Thank you Agent Hocthner" I replied with confidence in my voice.

"Please call me Hotch" I nodded in reply to his request, we made our way down the small three steps leading up to his office and into the bullpen, there were six more agents standing and talking amongst themselves. "Everyone this is SSA Corinne Jennings. She will be joining us as a new linguistic and geographical profiler on the team."

"Nice to meet you," a well built dark man said to me, "Derek Morgan"

"As to you Agent Morgan" I replied

Next I saw three woman and an older Italian man make their way up to me. The first was tall, fit and blonde. We almost looked alike. She introduced herself as SSA Jennifer Jareau but she said that I could just call her J.J. Next the older man introduced himself, "Hello I'm David Rossi. It's a little pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine"

After Rossi, a dark haired lady who's name was Emily Prentiss introduced herself to me. She was very nice I could tell that we were going to be friends. Then a slightly plump blonde who's style I had to admire (it is rather bright and fun. I'd never be able to anything like that off) came up and hugged me.

"Hello I'm Penelope Garcia. I'm the technical analysis. I stay here in my bat cave while you go out and investigate the cases and catch the bad guys."

"Very nice to meet you Penelope!" I said with a huge smile.

Lastly there remained a quiet man who looked to be about four years older than I am. He seemed a bit shy, but as soon as I saw him I remembered (of course I did! I have an eidetic memory, and iq of 186 and can read 20,000 words per minute). It was him. The man who has saved my life the day I dropped out of med school.
