Chapter 21: Brother?

Corinne's POV
"Okay we're headed to Colorado, where 14 year olds Morgan Bluhm and Ashley Bishop, 13 year olds Margaret Hastariter, Alyssa Cooper and Abbey Beres were all found in the woods with signs of sexual assault, torture, malnutrition, and the COD was internal bleeding from being beaten so hard. The first victim, Alyssa Copper, was found two months ago and a new victim has been found every two to three weeks after that."

"How come we weren't called in until now?" Morgan asked with a look of disgust and concern.

"The girls were all found in different counties and had all been missing for at least a month before their murder." Garcia replied with a slight quaver in her voice.

"Did they have anything in common?" I asked looking over my file.

"Yes, they all got good grades, had blue eyes and brown hair and were all involved many clubs and sports in their schools. And two of them,Alyssa and Margaret, were best friends according to their parents and phone records." Penelope answered.

"What were they all doing when they were abducted?" Spencer asked while scratching the back of his neck.

"They were all caught on tape entering a local café, but the video skips and you cannot see them leaving." Garcia replied with a sigh.

Rossi spoke up,"we're the best friends abducted at the same time or separately because they were the first two vics?"

"Yes they were.  According to their moms they went to that coffee shop everyother day after school for a homework group and food, then on the other days they'd just go to hangout. The same was found true for the other three girls." She responded.

"Alright get your go bags. Wheels up in thirty." Hotch announced.

I stood up to leave the room as everyone else was doing but a hand held me back.

"Rin," Spencer said while looking at the ground,"I-I have to tell you something." He said sounding almost disappointed in himself.

"Yeah Spence?" I said while outstretching my arm to his shoulder.

"W-well I've never told you this but," his face got red as he looked up from the ground,"I-I have a twin. H-his names Matthew and well I'm telling you this now because he's in Colorado right now in that area and I remember him telling about his daughter going to study groups like this." He finished and my jaw dropped.

"Spencer thank you for telling me this but why haven't you told me before?" I asked feeling some what hit that he wouldn't open up to me.

"Well you see my brother, well he's a very successful actor and even though I have a lot of accomplishments it's always seemed like he's had more. And we don't have the same name because he went with my father when he left and took his name. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you Corinne." He finished by saying my full name so I knew that he was genuine.

"Thank you Spence, but what are his and his daughters names?" I asked curiously wanting to know if I had seen anything that his brother was in.

"Matthew Gray Gubler and Tess Downing. I'm going to call him and tell him about what's going on and see if you could meet them when we finish the case." He replied. I nodded trying so desperately hard to hide my excitement.

I waited until he was distracted talking to Morgan, the. I ran and caught up with the girls. "Oh my god ladies, did you know that Spencer's brother is MATTHEW FRICKEN GRAY GUBLER!" I said panting acting like a major fan girl.

They all looked and laughed at me. "Of course we did. We were just waiting for him to tell you," JJ said laughing hysterically.

I glared at them. "How could you guys not tell me, you all know that he is my favorite actor of all time! Emily we just watched Life After Beth together the other night!" My outburst made them laugh even louder.

"Sorry!" Emily giggled.

"How could you have not seen the resemblance Mrs. Reid?" Garcia teased.

I thought to myself how stupid I was then I had an epiphany as I saw Spencer walking towards the elevator holding both of our bags. I ran over to him and hit him hard in the arm.

"Ow!! What was that for!" He asked grabbing his arm.

"Why didn't you tell me when we were watching Suburban Gothic! When I said 'hey you look a lot like him' and pointed your brother out. You also know that he's my favorite actor!" Yelled at him, not in a mean way but in a fan girl rant.

"I said I was sorry I wanted to tell you but I was just waiting for the right time you didn't have to hit me!" He said sounding hurt and while rubbing his arm.

"I'm sorry I flipped. But I know what will make that arm feel better...."

"Wha-" he was cut off by me grabbing his face and pulling him into a kiss.

"Come on geniuses! Break it up!" Morgan shouted from across the room. This caused both of us to blush a deep shade of pink as we got onto the elevator.

When we got into the elevator Spencer pulled out his phone and started to dial. His conversation went like this:

"Hey Matthew!"

"Good. Yeah I'm headed to really close to you for a case and there's something important I needed to tell you."

"Well you see...." Spencer filled him in on the case and urged him and Tess to take extra precautions.

"Yeah and when we so love the case I was wondering if you'd like to meet Corinne, the girl I've been telling you about for the past couple months?"

"Great! See you soon." And with that he hung up and I just smiled.

He looked over at me," what?" I asked.

"Your just to cute," he said while placing a gentle kiss on my cheek as the elevator doors opened.
