Chapter 25: Date Night

Spencer's POV
*4 months later*
We only had paperwork today. We had had a lot of long cases and we needed to catch up with things back home. Corinne had been working with us for a year and two months and we had been together for a year and one month. I was a new person. She had brought me out of my shell and gotten me to love her a little more everyday. We hadn't celebrated out one year anniversary yet so tonight we were going out to dinner for a date night. We were going to a fancy restaurant right after work so we had both brought clothes to change into. Right now it was 4:45 and we got off at 5:00. About ten minutes ago I saw Rin and the girls go into the bathroom giggling carrying a garment bag and makeup. I took this as my cure to get dressed. I was wearing black dress pants, a white button down, a dark pink tie that Rin had gotten me and a black blazer. Right now I was sitting at my desk reading my book. Then I heard a pair of heels make their way towards me.

"Ready?" She asked with her hand out stretched to me. She looked beautiful. She was wearing the dress she was wearing when we had first started dating and the necklace I had gotten her for Christmas almost a year ago now. She still only took it off when we were sleeping, or when she took a shower.

"Y-you you look great! And yes" I said as I stood up and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I heard an 'awwwwe' coming from Garcia, Emily and JJ. I looked over and playfully rolled my eyes at them.

Dinner was great and we had a fun time. But know it was time to start heading back to the apartment we had shared for a year now. When I got out of the car I picked up Rin and started to kiss her. She giggled and kissed me back. I didn't let go of her until after I had unlocked our door and walked into our bedroom. I set her down gently on the bed and she started to unzip her dress and immediately after she had gotten herself into just her bra and panties she began kissing me aging and started on my buttons.

I woke up the next morning with my arm around my Rinny and all of our clothes around the floor. I smiled as I reflected on the past year I had spent with her from us first getting together, to telling the team, to me saving her from Copper, and so many other things. I loved her to the moon and back.

Corinne's POV
*two weeks later*
"Oh sweetie!" JJ let out as she saw me running towards the bathroom.

"Again?" Emily said.

Penelope finished her sentence,"poor girl. She must be really sick. Let's go help her out."

JJ had held my hair back for the fifth time today. They were all over for a girls day this weekend and the guys were all out. I thought I just had a really bad stomach bug but JJ had a different idea:

"Honey, when was the last time you and Spencer, well you know, had sex?" She asked kinda awkwardly.

"Two weeks ago. After our anniversary dinner." I replied with my head still over the toilet, oblivious to what she had meant by the question.

"Emily can you walk across the street to the pharmacy and get three pregnancy tests?" JJ asked in a hopeful voice and the other ladies jumped for joy a little.

"Of course!" And with that Emily grabbed her purse and ran out the door.

"JJ you can't possibly think that..." I didn't get to finish my sentence.

"Did you guys use a condom?" Garcia asked.

"Well no...." I trailed off thinking about all the odd things I've been experiencing. Like the other day I had asked Spencer to get me an orange and I HATE oranges with a burning passions.

"Well then let's she then shall we." Them said in almost unison.

Spencer's POV
"Thanks for coming with me guys I really needed the support." I said as Derek, David, Aaron and I walked into the jewelry store.

"No problem Reid were all just glad that you finally doing it tonight."
Morgan said as he gave me a hard pat on the back causing me to stumble a bit. I didn't even have the ring yet and I was so nervous.

We looked at cases and cases and cases of rings until I saw the perfect of one. After we had checked out I texted Rin and told her that boys night was ending early so she should meet me at our favorite coffee shop in an hour. I just wanted to get the nerves out of my system as soon as possible.

Corinne's POV
Emily had returned ten minutes ago and we were waiting for the realist of the third test when I got Spencer's text. JJ hadn't let me see anything hey because she wanted to be sure.

30 seconds left.

"Well?" I asked in a nervous but very excited tone as they all looked at the tests. And in unison they all shouted.

"Congratulations!!!!" And swarmed me with big hugs. I started to cry because was so happy. "You and Spencer are going to make great parents."
JJ whispered into my ear.
