Chapter 23: Cold Colorado part 2

Spencer's POV
Corinne! That voice was Corinne's. That scream it was her. I grabbed Tess' hand and ran her over to the EMT to get checked out. "I'll be right back." I said as I ran towards the house. Some of the EMTs were already inside tending to two people. The first thing I saw was the unsub. On the ground. Dead. The next thing I saw Rin sitting on the stairs squeezing Derek's hand as the medic looked at her arm. It wasn't until I had goiter closer that I realized that there was blood coming from her.

"Spence," she said in a soft but excited voice and jumped up and hugged me.

"W-what happened?" I asked wiping up some of her blood with my fingers.

"The unsub aimed at me but Morgan shot him. I'm fine trust me." She replied.

"You will be fine when you come back to the hospital with us ma'am and get that cleaned up and some stitches" the medic added.

"I agree with her." I said as the medic lead way out of the door and to the ambulance where Tess was.

Rin sat down inside the ambulance on the bench across from Tess and I sat next to my niece.

"How ya doin kiddo?" I asked but directed my question to the medic who had treated her.

"She good she'll just need a few stitches and some X-rays back at the hospital." The medics finished and hopped into the front of the ambulance and started to drive.

I smiled and put my arm around her small frame. "Is this her?" Corinne asked pointing to Tess.

"Tess this is my girlfriend Corinne. She is the one who made the profile so that we could find you." I said as introduced the two.

"Hiya," Corinne added.

"Thank you so much! Uncle Spencer has said a lot about you in his letters to my dad and I." Tess replied while reaching over the gurney and giving Rin a hug.

"No problem kiddo. Now Spencer why don't we call your brother and tell him everything's alright and where we're going." She stated. Even when she was taking charge she was still the most gorgeous thing I ever could've seen.

"Alright," I said as I pulled sour my phone and dialed Matt's number.

"Hey Matthew," I said calmly into the phone.

"Spencer! What's going on?" He replied in a worried tone.

"Everything's fine. I'm in the ambulance with Tess right now and we are on our way to the hospital because she needs some stitches and X-rays."

"Hi Daddy! I love you!" Tess said leaning over to my phone.

"Hey sweet girl. I'll see you soon. Okay?" He said in tears

"Alright dad." She replied.

"Okay thank you Spence." He said while I hung up the phone and placed it back into my pocket. After that grabbed both of my girls hands.

"I'm glad your both okay."

Corinne's POV
When we got to the hospital Tess and I were both admitted but we had a double room that both of us were in so that Spencer didn't have I go back and forth. I had just need some stitches in my arm and a splint for my wrist but Tess need a cast for her ankle and stitches on multiple cuts all over her body. Tess had jus find he's getting her stitches and the nurse was wheeling her  out of the room so she could get her casts on. She insisted that Spencer stay with me because she was a teenager and didn't need him to hold her hand so she went alone. Ten minutes after Tess had left to get her casts on a tall figure with brown eyes ran into the room. He was more muscular than Spencer but didn't have Spencer's chiseled face.

"Matthew!" Spencer stood up and hugged his brother while I started hyperventilating.

"Hey Spence! Where's Tess?" He asked while hugging my boyfriend.

"She's getting her cast on right now she should be back any minute. Please sit." Spencer said while gesturing to one of the chairs next to my hospital bed.

I was breathing very hard and I was at a loss of words. Matthew and Spence sat done next to me and  I could feel my face growing redder and redder every second.

"Matthew this is my girlfriend Corinne. She is the one who made the profile to save Tess and she is your biggest fan."
Spencer said with a laugh.

"Nice to meet you Corinne. Thank you so much." He said while giving me a hug. When he pulled away I yelped.

"Spencer, Matthew Gray Gubler just hugged me! Am I hallucinating?" I said stunned by what just happened. My favorite actor of all time had just hugged me! The two of them laughed and I snapped out of my fangirl daze. "I'm so sorry, and your welcome. It's a pleasure to meet you to." I finished as they wheeled Tess into the room. She was sporting a bright pink cast.

"Hey baby!" Matthew said as he picked her up out of the wheelchair and gave her a tight hug and a kiss. He had his life together for a 27 year old. So did Spence.

We talked to the two of them for a while before the team came and picked me and Spencer up to head back to the jet and home to Quantico. We said our final goodbyes and were on our way home. Even though I had gotten abit I was so happy how the case turned out. I mean we found the killer of five young girls, found Spencer's niece, I met my favorite actor and bonded with him and Spencer and I had gotten to spend some time together. It was also a bonus that we didn't have to pay for a hotel that night because we were already on our way home by nine at night. When we got back to the office Spencer and I linked hands and headed home to our apartment for the night. When we arrived home I got straight into pajamas, one of Spencer's t shirts and crawled into bed, avoiding laying on my stitches. Before I feel asleep I felt a arm around me and a kiss on the my forehead.

"Good night my love," he whispered into my ear as he pulled me closer to his body digging my head into his bare chest.
