Chapter Three

GENERAL POV
Nadine arrived at the Theater House where Karylle is playing as a stage-actress. She's searching a vacant seats kasi almost full na dahil ang marami ang tao gustong manood sa musical-stage play na ito. From a frown bc she pissed off by James her long time enemy and blockmate, her face lighten up when she saw her mother from afar, waving with a smile. Nadine mouthed 'Good Luck' and threw a flying kiss na agad din namang sinalo nang ina.

"Finally!" She sighed nang makahanap na sya nang bakanteng upuan

15 more minutes, the show finally started. Halos nang mga manonood ay nakatuon sa bidang babae, playing as Ariel from the Little Mermaid and that is Karylle. Ngiting-ngiti at bilib na bilib si Nadine sa ina kahit nakailang nood na sya sa mga shows ng ina. Walang kakupas ang magandang tinig, ganda at hubog ng katawan ni Karylle. Pak na pak parin!
The theater play took almost an hour, halos standing ovations from the audience ang natanggap ng mga actor at actress na ikatuwa ng wagas ng mga ito habang taos pusong nagpasalamat.

"Mommy!!! I'm so proud of you!" Nadine sweetly said as she wrapped her mother in a tight and warm hug
"Aww. Thank you so much, Hon. I'm so touched!" Karylle answered almost, tear-eyed
"Sus! Parang hindi ka pa sanay, Ma! Pa-humble ang peg?" Nadine japed that made Karylle chuckled
"Dapat lang. Remain humble and down to earth. Kaya ikaw--" She pinched Nadine's nose and continued "Always remember that. Ayaw kong lumaki kang may tuktok sa ulo." Natawa naman si Nadine sa term ni Karylle. She showed a thumbs at nag aya nang kumain

As soon as makarating ang mag-ina sa restaurant ay agad silang nagkuha ng order dahil nagugutom na rin sila.
While their were waiting the order, Nadine signaled her mom to take a selfie with her cellphone. Karylle automatically pouted her lips with a peace sign while Nadine just flashed a toothless-smile and captured it.
"We're so pretty on the shot!" She said, giggling
"Post mo, Honey." Karylle suggested while wiggling her eyebrows
"Sure, Ma." Nadine winked and opened her instagram account:

After Nadine posted their selfie, she clicked the home feed to check her friend's posts. She stopped from scrolling when her sight stopped on a instagram post, uploaded by a user that she always stalking in about a month already.
"She's indeed gorgeous like me." She whispered to herself that made her chuckled
Napansin naman ni Karylle na mag-isang tumatawa ang anak kaya pini-'psst' nya ito to call Nadine's attention.
"Po?" She answered and she looked up to meet her mother's gaze
"What's funny?" Karylle asked as her eyebrows lift

Nadine bit her lower lip, she's hesitating if ibabahagi ba nya sa ina ang pagstastalk sa taong close na close sa puso nya.
"Uh... i'm stalking my twin, Mom." Pabulong na sambit ni Nadine. She saw her mother flinched.
"You mean, Ana Kathryn?" Hula pa ni Karylle. Nadine just nodded at inabot ang phone kay Karylle para ipakita ang latest post ng kakambal
"Oh...She's so beautiful just like you Nadz." She commented as her voice started to crack dahil naiiyak sya "7 years old pa kayo since I last saw her. Since when you knew her instagram account?"
"About a month already, Mom, from a ViceRylle fan." When Nadine realized what she just said "Opps-- sorry I didn--"
"No. It's just okay, Honey." Karylle flashed a small smile to her Nadine and continued to stalk Ana Kathryn's account "It's funny that me and your dad's fans still exist kahit ang relationship namin nh Daddy mo are not anymore existed." I tear dropped from her eye na agad naman nyang pinunasan
"Mom stop crying." Nadine uttered, stood up from her seat and gave her mother a comforting hug "Alam mo namang I hate seeing you crying."
"Sorry for being a drama actress kahit wala ako ngayon sa Theater House, mukhang kinareer ko yata." Karylle joked to lighten up the mood "Btw, itong pic nya lang with Sarah G ang posts nyang nakangiti sya. Mostly of her photos are in black & white filters and I think, fierce is her fav pose." Karylle observed as click Kath's posts one by one
"Idk, Mom. Yun nga ipinagtaka ko eh." Kibit balikat na sagot ni Nadine
"Ah eh... ay wag nalang." Halos pabulong na kausap ni Karylle sa sarili
"Ha? Why, Mom? Is there bothering u?" Worried na tanong ni Nadine habang nirarub ang braso ng ina
"I'm just wondering if kumusta na ang Daddy nyo."
"Why don't u check his social media accounts?" Nadine suggested
"That's useless, Hon. Nabalitaan ko kasing he deactivated his instagram and Facebook account. His twitter is still active but I can't see it, so siguro he blocked me." Malungkot na turan ni Karylle
"Wag na ma-sad, Ma. Don't worry hahanapin ko 'yang account ni Dad diba his username is '@vicegandako'?"
"I still hope so." Karylle lips formed a thin line
"I'll visit the twitter account where I first saw Kath's instagram account that obviously, fan of your loveteam so baka alam nya yung account ni Dad if ever nagbago ba ito or ano. Okay, Mom?" Nadine wiggling her eyebrows with a grin on her face. Tumango nalang si Karylle na may alanganing ngiti sa labi. "Yas! Our order is finally serve!" Bunyi ni Nadine at bumalik na sa upuan na kaharap ni Karylle

On the next day, Vice woke up with a heavy feeling dahil sa dami nang nainom nya kagabi.
Kinuskos nya ang kanyang mata at dahan-dahang bumangon at nilingon ang orasan na nakapatong sa side table.
"9:14 na pala." He grumbled. He was about to stand up nang maramdaman nya ang kumot sa legs nya. "Kumot? May kumumot sakin?" Binalik nya ang tingin sa hinigaan at nakita ang unan "Inunanan din ako? Who did this? Si Kath? Chosera! Kailan pa nagkaroon ng puso nyang anak mo ha?" Mahina nyang kausap sa sarili. "Baka sila Buern, hinat--" Naputol ang pag-huhula ni Vice when Kath called his attention. She's currently walking down the stairs
"Finally you're awake. Morning, Dad." Simpleng bati ni Kath "You should stood up na dyan para mahigop mo yung corn soup that I cooked and after that, drink the medicine for your headache to less the pain. Dahil sa kakatungga mo nang alak last night." Pautos at paleleksyon nya sa ama in a very cold way
"Opo, masusunod, Madam!" Vice japed as he flashed a big grin to his daughter na parang tinutukso dahil sa tinuran ni Kath. Tumayo sya sabay kuha sa kumot at itinupi ito while Kath is making her to the dining table. Pakendeng-kendeng na lumakad ang ama patungo sa hapagkainan na may malaking ngisi parin sa labi sabay nang pagka-upo nito, napailing nalang si Kath dahil dito.
"Woah! Corn soup? You cooked this for me?" Manghang sambit ni Vice with widen eyes
"For us." Pagtatama ni Kath na may diin pa sa huling salita at hindi man lang tinapunan ng tingin ang ama as she scope for her soup
"Ah talaga ba?" Again, a grin plastered on his lips, bigger than a while ago. Natigil si Kath sa pagkukuha ng sabaw nya dahil sa pagdadoubt or more like pagtetease ng ama. She threw a bored look at Vice and said...
"Are you thinking that I cooked and prepared this for you because you're not feeling well? Think again." She muttered, rolling her eyes
"I am so convinced. Grabeee." He answered in a sarcastic way
"Psh. You know what? Napaka-assuming mo!" Naiinis na tugon ni Kath
"Oh bakit ka naiinis? Kumunot pa yang noo mo oh" He said while pointing her forehead "Masyado kang nagpahahalata, Anak." He winked and laughed "Aminin, ikaw nagkumot at nag-unan sakin kagabi. Second, corn soup is not the type of food that you usually cook because u find it a 'jeje' food. And lastly, You told me to drink a medicine for my hangover. Tell me, nag aalala ka ba sakin, Kath? Just tell me. Titigilan na kita at mananahimik na ako." Nakangiting bitaw ni Vice sa anak habang nakatingin ng diretso sa mata ng anak

A long silence came after. But suddenly, Kath broke this by...
"Hahahahahahahaha! Wtf. I just can't!!!!" She said between her laughs that made Vice confused (matagal na kaya syang confuse kasalanan ni k chos) "You really believed that I actually care for you? Since when? Hahahahahahahahaha!!!" She laughed again. Vice hit bigtime. He sadly smiled as he look down. He stared to his corn soup and let out a cold statement
"Yeah...right. How stupid of me. Sorry for assuming. Umasa pa ako! Tama nga naman, kailan mo pa ako binigyan ng pagkalinga? Tsk. Hindi pa ako nasanay. O sya, kumain na tayo, bago pa lumaming 'tong sabaw." Kath felt guilty dahil bakas na bakas sa mukha ng ama na nasaktan ito sa mga salitang binitiwan nya. She swallowed her lips as she leaned back to her chair.

"U such a moron, Ana Kathryn. That's too much. You just hurt your father's heart." She told to her self
