The night was dark and cold.

But the lone man sitting in a dark corner of the building's top floor didn't show any indication of the freezing temperature.

Ji-yong didn't know how long he sat there. He couldn't even remember how the heck he got there. His mind was foggy and he could barely recall how came to be here. He shook his head to clear the haziness. After some time, he gasped when he finally felt the cold air, stinging his face.

He tried to stand slowly on shaky legs. He held his head in his hands when he felt the word spin around him. He swayed wildly so he threw a hand against the wall for support since his weak knees didn't have any strength. He felt another wave of nausea hit and he crumpled to the floor. He cursed in his mind. He didn't know why he was here. He was furious at his situation and vowed vengeance on whoever thought of this sick joke. After gathering strength, he hauled himself up, his anger giving him strength and managed to walked slowly to find the exit.

After forever, which was only about 7 minutes, he found the EXIT sign glowing ahead. In a mad dash for freedom, he surged forward towards the door only to be hit by another nausea attack. This one he felt straight to his gut; the world spun out of control. He lurched once and keeled over the railing. He threw an arm to grab the railing but only grasped air. He felt himself falling forward and saw the city lights below. 'I'm going to die' he thought. Just then, he felt arms grabbing his waist, pulling him to safety. He struggled to stay awake to at least thank whoever saved his sorry ass when he felt faint and blacked out completely.

Yoona sat beside the guy whom she saved. He promptly blacked out after his near brush with death and was now sleeping like a baby. She clutched a hand to her heart, as if the action would somehow help it to slow down. It's been so long since she felt her heart race like this. When she saw him keel over the railings, she prayed that she won't be too late.

The railings were a safe enough height for any normal person not to fall over. She looked at the guy again and wondered how stoned or drunk he was to have almost died. She shrugged mentally. It was just like her to judge quickly - one of her many flaws; but having witnessed a person almost die, she thought to give him the benefit of doubt. Right now though, she was just glad that she was there at that moment to save him.

The guy was now leaning on her as they sat. She felt his whole weight on her right side so she shifted to make him more comfortable. She breathed in the biting air and felt glad that she was calm again. Glancing at her watch, she was shocked that it was already 12:51 in the morning.

'Oh great. I still have work tomorrow' she thought dryly. 'What am I going to do with you?'
