Ji-yong loved the thought of Yoona on his bed with her messy hair but looking lovely as heck. Her eyes were a bit red from crying earlier and her nose was a bit swollen but she still looked gorgeous. 'Damn!' He laughed when the pillow hit him but, man, he liked teasing her.
"You can change in the bathroom, I'll be in the kitchen..." he said and left. He looked inside his fridge and thanked the gods that he had the sense to shop for groceries the day before the party. He quickly got some meat and veggies, and washed them in the sink when he heard her shuffling into the kitchen.Ji-yong turned to look at Yoona and he felt a punch to his gut. He purposely gave her an over sized shirt and boxers and her overall look was smoking hot, if he could say so himself. If Yoona felt uncomfortable wearing his clothes, she didn't show it, instead she walked up beside him to help him cook. He was shocked but shrugged it off and smiled at her and when she smiled back, it warmed his heart. They talked while they worked and Ji-yong once again loved the peaceful, domestic feeling that Yoona brought to his heart.
Together they cooked up a storm. Originally, Ji-yong wanted to impress her by taking her out to eat and buying her an expensive dress to replace her ruined one but having a home cooked meal like this was even better than all his previous plans.
Yoona served all of the food, main dishes and side dishes while Ji-yong got all the cutlery and set the table. They worked quickly since Yoona was already pretty hungry. She didn't have lunch because of what happened at the office but now that she was distracted, her appetite came back in full force. She liked working with Ji-yong and liked their easy camaraderie.
Earlier, her mouth hung open when she saw what he chose for her to wear, 'typical,' she thought, amused. She didn't mind wearing his clothes; she wore her brothers' clothes all the time so it really wasn't a problem. She looked at her self in the mirror and hated looking at her swollen nose and red eyes. She splashed water onto her face but it really didn't help so she just fixed her hair into a bun and went into the kitchen.
Looking at Ji-yong's hunched back, while working; tugged at her heart and awoke feelings of domesticity that she wanted to bury. She had dreams too, a family, a husband? But she put these feelings on the shelf. She was so occupied with her company that frankly, she didn't bother with dating and all that stuff. She sighed and finally walked to the sink to help him.
'Dang, he looks so good - and I'm ugh...' she thought hopelessly.
Finally they sat to eat, "Thanks for the food...!!"
Ji-yong and Yoona ate while making small talk but the teasing was ever there. Ji-yong liked to tease her but she gave back as much as she got so Ji-yong had a really great time that afternoon. After eating, Ji-yong didn't really want her to go yet but still, he had to ask, "So - can I drive you home?"
It was a Friday night after all. Many of his friends would be out and party all night, but all of a sudden he wanted to stay in and spend the evening with Yoona but she said, "Ah - yes please. I'll just have to intrude on your generosity again. I just want to rest, tonight..."Ji-yong could hear the regret in her voice but he didn't say anything to stop her. Maybe she really does need some time alone to sort things out, 'So let her go!' he thought.
But the greedier part of him said, "Won't you have coffee with me somewhere? Before you go home?" he then smiled his cutest smile and hoped that she'd agree.
