Ji-yong blushed adorably. He liked hearing her laugh and he wanted to be the one to make her laugh.
'Uh oh' he thought. He looked at her and felt a different kind of feeling. He was confused about how to describe it. He vaguely heard her talking about how she struggled to help him home. He was busy identifying the alien sensation that he was feeling.
'Lust? Well - just a little. She looks great but I've seen plenty of sexier women though. Curiosity? Hmm, she is interesting, but there are a lot of interesting women out there too...' and then it hit him hard like being run over by a roaring bullet train. '
Peace'. He never felt at peace like this before. Her smile, her thoughtful and intelligent eyes, hooked him like a drug. Her kindness in saving him and her generous heart won him over.
She became more animated as she recounted her ordeal. He finally focused on the conversation and laughed in time with her. Ji-yong hung on to her every word and never took his eyes off of hers. She didn't seem to mind, unlike some women who couldn't look him in the eye. She was still talking when her phone rang. She excused herself and answered it.
Ji-yong felt the change in her mood intermediately. Gone was the vibrant and animated speaker who was so carefree in telling him a story. In her place stood a calm and serious person with rigid shoulders and a furrowed brow.
This was Yoona the professional and he was awed.
Her face was even more beautiful when she was serious and he guessed that people were intimidated when she showed them this side of her. She looked cold and uncaring, but he knew that wasn't true. She was just intense and serious. He felt even more inclined to get to know her better.
Yoona ended the call and said, "I'm sorry Jiyong. I've got to go. Can I give you a ride anywhere? Please feel free to take a shower and use the clothes in the closet. They're my brothers'. Or what else you might need..." she said calmly, still businesslike. He held up his hands and said, "I'll be fine. Please go. I'll let myself out after I call my manager. Can I use your phone?"
"Okay. Sure. There's one right by the fridge. Excuse me, I have to get ready..." she left.
Yoona cursed herself. 'Oh god, why'd I get carried away?! I'm late!! But still G- freaking-Dragon?!! In my house?' she still couldn't believe it. She hoped that he wasn't weirded out by her animated storytelling. She was just that comfortable with him that she threw all caution to the wind but Jisung had to bring reality back in full force. She sighed as she got ready. Her usual office wear was heels and simple but designer dresses that showed off her curves. Today, she chose a deep green Armani dress that complimented her pale complexion and finished the look with matching green heels. She only uses minimal makeup so she finished quickly. She grabbed her phone and bag and rushed out of her room.
She walked quickly to the door but backtracked for her car keys. She grabbed them from a bowl on the living room counter and started towards the door when she heard glass shattering.
She whipped her head towards the sound and she saw G-Dragon gaping at her with broken glass at his feet.
"Are you alright?" she asked him.
'No. I'm not alright' he thought.
