Yoona went to the lobby so she could sit down while waiting for Ji-yong. She almost didn't tell him to come and get her but she realized that she wasn't alone anymore and that she had Ji-yong to turn to when she needed help so she mustered enough courage to ask him so he could help her.
Being independent and strong-willed, she hated to rely on anyone, even her family - but having Ji-yong, Yoona learned that depending on someone didn't have to mean that you're admitting weakness but rather you are strong enough to admit that you can let other people help you because they care for you and they are important to you.
Yoona smiled as she realized how love has changed even her perceptions in life. Now that she was in a meaningful relationship herself, her heart felt lighter and more hopeful, even the daunting task of moving seemed bearable all because of Ji-yong.
'Where are you, Ji-yong?' she wondered. Yoona wasn't the most patient of people so after 15 minutes of waiting, she was already fidgeting uncomfortably in the coffee shop located in the lobby. When she was ready to tear her hair out, Ji-yong's hand on her shoulder calmed her down. Her earlier anxiety was replaced by giddiness and she excitedly turned to greet him, "Ji-yong-ah!" she smiled at him and he returned her greeting with a smile that made his eyes disappear. "Did you wait long?" he asked her gently. "No – I only waited for 5 minutes or so!" she said.
Ji-yong laughed. Yoona frowned.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Yoona asked him, as she tried to keep the annoyance out of her voice but not quite managing it.
Ji-yong fisted his hand against his mouth to stop his laughter and just shrugged, "I missed you...already" and that shut Yoona up. She was startled but quickly recovered and smiled a contented smile at him, "Let's go..." she said as she boldly looped her arm into his.
It was Ji-yong she shocked into silence when she continued, "I missed you too..."
Ji-yong smiled at her with love in his eyes. He gently guided Yoona to the passenger seat and when she started protesting, he wordlessly gestured to all of her and pointed out her injuries. Yoona rolled her eyes but gave up and sat on the passenger side.
Ji-yong just laughed as he started her car. "Home?" he asked simply as he reached for her hand. Yoona smiled and squeezed his hand, "Home..." she then closed her eyes.
Ji-yong asked her about her morning but her eyes remained closed so he just laughed at her faking sleep. "Yah – you're too stubborn for your own good!" he playfully scolded her. "Yah – I'm talking to you!! Yoooonaa~" he called her name in a sing-song. Ji-yong never even saw her coming.
Yoona suddenly sprang up on him tilted her head to kiss him full on the mouth to shut him up. Ji-yong hit the brakes hard but Yoona anticipated that and grabbed hold of Ji-yong's head so that she won't be thrown. All around them the horns from other vehicles were blaring loudly but Yoona prolonged the kiss.
When they ran out of breath, her eyes twinkled as she challenged him, "You talk too much..." and promptly went back to fake sleeping.
