Ji-yong smiled and put a fist to his mouth and watched her panic.
He wanted to laugh at her worry-filled face when she finally realized where they were. He knew that it was crazy to go out - on a night like this, any second now - someone might recognize him, but at that moment, his heart was warmed by Yoona's obvious concern for him.
Looking at her stressing, her eyes and mouth, wide open; she looked so adorable that he finally laughed. This drew another dark look from her so he grabbed her hand and they went inside another shop. He picked one that didn't have so many customers and sat her down.
"Oh my god! Are you crazy?" Yoona asked. She was this close to yelling at him and remembered just in time that he was not her boyfriend. 'Uh oh!' thankfully, she stopped just time from saying anything more.
She closed her mouth and crossed her arms over her chest and looked away. He laughed again but pulled down the mask he wore. "That's why I'm wearing this" gesturing to the mask that covered half of his face "and this" while pointing to the hood that was on his head.Yoona breathed a sigh of relief but she was still anxious from the potential danger that Ji-yong would have been in, if he was recognized. She shook her head to clear it. "I shouldn't have - no, we shouldn't have gone out tonight. I'm sorr-"
Ji-yong cut her off by moving his face too close to hers. "If you don't stop talking, I might have to use desperate measures..." his threat hung in the air and Yoona knew from his eyes that he was serious so she shut up.
Ji-yong smirked and said, "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine." "Are you ready to shop for shoes?"Yoona only shook her head and replied, "Fine. Have it your way. Let's go find some shoes then..." She was also able to find some comfy shoes quickly, so Ji-yong paid for it and they went on their way.
"I have to say, you're a pretty quick shopper..." he said while they were walking.
Yoona felt a twinge of jealousy when she thought of how many women he went on shopping trips with.
But she just smiled and said, "Well, there are still women who are like me - quick shoppers - haha! I'm just lazy actually, I don't want to go around for hours - not buying anything. I like to get it over with quickly - but I do love to shop..."
Ji-yong laughed and he was glad that she seemed pretty straightforward. He liked it. Very much.He fixed the hood of his jacket over his head, fixed the mask in place and offered his arm to Yoona again. She immediately hooked her arm in his and they strolled quietly through the busy streets.
Amazingly, nobody paid Ji-yong any mind, and for that he was extremely glad. He felt freer than ever and happier as well. They grabbed some coffee but didn't stay in the shop. They walked around some more, talked a lot more and laughed even more.
The night grew deeper but neither wanted to go home yet so when Ji-yong got his car, he turned to her and said, "Do you mind if I just drove around a bit?"Yoona faced him and looked into his eyes, "I don't mind..." and smiled.
Ji-yong put the car into drive and said, "I was hoping you'd say that..."
