Grandma searched for her old camera in who knows where because she wanted to take a picture of us in our first night in the island, well in this case Nikki and my first night in the island. But I don’t really see the mood of getting picture on a night of storms. It’s been raining hard outside and there were flickering lights in the sky, must be the lighting. And an unclear sound of the thunder can also be heard, it must be really booming outside the mansion. But even though we’re in a dark stormy night, grandma’s mood can’t be shook. I mean she seriously wanted to take a picture, well according to her, of her grandchildren. But of course, we did what she requested. How could we say no to a sixty year old granny?
But even when the camera flashed, the stares of some odd eyes were still on me, more specifically Nikki's. It’s not like I purposely lied about my first kiss, because I didn’t really consider it as a kiss. I mean it’s up to me right? The only problem now is that Nikki must be really surprised and angry. Why wouldn’t she? I didn’t tell her about everything that has happened to me even though we made a promise to each other.
Third Person Point-Of-VIew
The boys went out of the room together after Rob’s grandma dismissed them. They were also ahead of the two ladies that were talking intently few steps away from them.
“Hey… someone’s going to get laid tonight.” Vaughn shouted as he teased Rob who continued walking. Nate laughed along with him, while Jake was waiting for Rob’s answer.
“I’m sleeping at another room.” Rob simply said. He walked ahead of them and left the three with their own thoughts.
End Third Person Point-Of-VIew
“Hey Nik, wait up.” I called for Nikki when we were finally outside the room.
“What?!” She answered indignantly.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t tell you about it because… bec…” I stuttered.
“Because you don’t trust me.”
“It’s not that. No NIk, please let me explain.”
“Do that tomorrow. Em, I think there’s a bigger problem that you should face tonight. Goodnight.” Nikki walked away from me. What did she mean about a bigger problem?
I walked to my room alone; downhearted about the fight I had with my best friend. Not that it was really a fight but it’s because she’s obviously angry at me. And it’s my fault for not trusting her. I was worried of what might be her reaction when she learns that Rob Van Garrette forced himself into me.
I opened the door to my room and I went straight to the closet. I want to change clothes. Then I came to realize that there was Rob searching about something in the closet, like a thief or something. Just then I remembered about what granny said early this morning; Rob and I are going to share a room. Oh my gosh.
“What are you staring at?” He asked. And I wasn’t able to answer. I’ve never really thought about tonight, I totally forgot it. This is so crazy, how did I become so forgetful. Now what am I going to do?
“Ahm…”
“Don’t worry, I’m sleeping at another room.” He told me. What? Really?
I felt relieved. He would sleep in another room. Just then I started seeing things differently. Not that I really think that he really wants me because there would definitely be something wrong with it because he has a girlfriend whom he really loves right? It’s just that he’s in his pajamas and I didn’t really think that he would wear that kind of clothing; not that I care. And then he walked out of the room and left me by myself. I can’t believe that I will have this freakin’ big suite only for myself. And no I’m not afraid… or maybe a little. It’s just that it’s raining hard outside and there were a little lightning visible in the sky so that’s it.
