“You and the blonde kid… tell me everything! I mean everything!” I commanded when Nikki came to me after talking to Vaughn Harrison. Something fishy is going on between the two of them and I have every right to know, okay maybe not every right.

“What do you mean me and the blonde kid? And Emily, you haven’t told me about your first kiss with that Rob jerk, I think you’re the one who has to tell me everything.” She blurted. Okay so maybe I have something that I have to say to her…

So I basically told her about everything. I told her what happened the night of Jake’s birthday party at the Martin’s mansion. I don’t want to tell anyone but I feel like I’m obligated to tell Nikki, she’s the only one because she’s my best friend. She was so surprised at what she heard but I didn’t give her a chance to say more. I hurriedly made her tell me about Vaughn and I hated her answer. How could she say that she hates him when they’re obviously into something.

But I wasn’t able to force Nikki to spill everything; it was all because grandma forced Nikki and I to come with the boys. Grandma wanted them to show us the island and well it was a good idea because the island is indeed beautiful but the only problem is that there still some awkward moments between everybody… no not really everybody but between Rob and I and Jake and I.

So we used a yacht to tour the whole island. We just obviously toured the outside of it, or like from the views in the ocean… yeah. Nate said we’ll be staying in the island for a little while so there’d be a lot of time to tour the inside of it. And I don’t know what time he’s talking about because tomorrow is Monday, a school day, which means we should be at school. But I didn’t bother telling the idiot. I did have fun during the tour, I knew Nikki did too. And I made sure that I shot every wonderful scenery with my camera, I wasn’t thinking of missing one. We were at the yacht the whole day, and there are times when the guys wanted swimming so at some point we stopped at a certain place. And someone took advantage of it, that someone is no other than Nikki. He pushed Jake to me. Now what?!

“Hey!” Jake started nervously. Is he kidding me? Why would he be nervous?

“Hey…” I tried to shake the thought of him laughing at my stupidity for not knowing that he's friends with the jerks. I don’t know why it is such a big deal for me… maybe because I just trusted him so much and he, well, he betrayed me.

“Listen Emily, I’m sorry. Please forgive me.” He said in his most sincere voice. Jake can be a jerk sometimes but he’s a really sweet guy too. I know he’s sincere and I shouldn’t take that for granted.

“Okay, fine. I won’t ignore you anymore, but that doesn’t mean that we could be the best of friends again. I haven’t really forgiven you, you know.”

“Okay, great.” He told me and then hugged me. I have to say that Jake really smells good. I love everything about him.

I felt good, really good. Jake and I, well I didn’t say we’re best friends again, but we’re okay now. It feels amazing. One thorn has been taken, and I’ll be a beautiful rose then. Haha! That’s good. So we continued the tour, I noticed Jake kept on glancing at me. And every time he caught my eyes, I knew I did some blushing. It was a bit embarrassing. And because Nikki obviously saw it, she hurriedly snapped me off. I mean what’s her problem? Why is she making me feel like a wife that has been cheating? No not really, Rob and I aren’t really together so why would I be called that.

“Did you enjoy the tour Emily?” Grandma asked nicely when we were at the round table for our dinner that night. Grandma decided to have it near the beach and it was actually cool, literally cool because of the breeze.
