Falling Hard

Chapter 1

Alex's POV

Flashback...

I can hear the front door slam shut. It must be my father it has been four years since my mother left us and 1 year since my father started beating me. He must be back from the bar im scared im only 11and I hate when my father come home..

"ALEX GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!!" said my father

I slowly walk down the stairs and I see my father with a bottle of whiskey in his hand he takes a swig from the bottle.

"why is there dishes in the sink you were suppose to wash the dishes!" oh shoot i forgot to wash dishes!
"I-I f-forgot to wash dishes you came home earlier than I expected" I stuttered quietly.
"SPEAK UP WHEN YOU TALK TO ME YOUNG LADY!"
"I FORGOT OKAY NOW I KNOW WHY MOM LEFT US BECAUSE YOU ARE SO MEAN!" I yelled back.
My father slowly walks up to me and I start backing up and I trip on the step then I run up the stairs but he is faster so he grabs my foot and pulls me off the stairs. I notice i hit my chin hard on the wooden steps and there is a lot of blood from my nose too.

He picks me up and throws me across the hall and I hit my head, I feel really dizzy i think i hit my head to hard.
I groan because my father keeps kicking me in my stomach and soon I just dont feel anything anymore I fall into a deep sleep while my father keeps beating me.

"ALEX!!!! wake up!!" Lindsey my best friend yells.
I jump off the bed and feel my face wet from the tears. Ugh I had another nightmare about my father. I slept over at Lindseys house because it got dark.

"We have to get ready for school. Alex your nightmares are getting worse you know" said Lindsey.

"I know I know im sorry and can I borrow clothes from you today?"

"yeah sure"

No body knows my father beats me not even Lindsey. I can't ever tell anyone my father would kill me.
I walk over to Lindseys closet and pick out black skinny jeans and a black shirt that says 'I woke up like this' and black flats I walk into the bathroom and lock it then grab my bag and take out conceler to cover my bruises from my father. I put my hair up in a messy bun then grab my bag and walk to Lindsey's car and see she is putting on lipgloss and I hop in the car and we drive off to school.

Lindsey walks off to her other friends while i go to my locker.
I get to my locker and open it and flower comes pooring down onto me.

"IM BACK BESTIE!" oh no it's not who I think it is

"Alec?"

"Im back hahhahaha y-you're covered in f-flower!" Alecsays clutching his stomach from laughing so hard.
"no no no you can't be back no im just seeing things. Im gonna kill you Alec!!" I say and I never thought I would do what happens next....

I run as fast as I can in his direction and jump on him and tackle him to the floor. I forgot i had silly string in my bookbag (dont ask why) and I put my legs on each side of his chest and hold down his arms with my legs and open the silly string.

"no please don't spray me with that I beg you Alex!" begged Alec

1..2...3 I spray it all over him he tries to get up but he couldn't so he rolls us over so im on the floor and grabs the silly string and starts spraying me with it. Then he stops and stares at something I try to look down but I couldn't see.
Alec gets up and tells everyone to go back to where they were and to go away. He lifts me up and drags me to the girls bathroom.

"Alec what are you doing??!!?"I yell

"what the hell is that Alex what happened?"

"what are you talking ab-" I look down and see something rubbed the makeup off and you could see a huge bruise and a couple other bruises on my neck and face.

"t-that's n-nothing Alec don't worry about it!" I say dammit i hate when i stutter.
"That isn't just nothing someone beat you up. Did your dad do this? because i have heard some yelling at your house lately and he comes home drunk all the time"

"NO MY FATHER WOULDNT DO THAT! I just fell down the stairs thats all...listen I am gonna be late for class so bye" I say then I run off. Shit I forgot Alec was my neighbor great just great.

School ended and Lindsey was currently giving me a ride home.
"So you and Alec?"
"um eww no never gonna happen. You know I dont date Lindsey"
"I know alex but still you have to give other people chances forget about Travis he is a stupid douche"

Travis is my ex 3 months ago he cheated on me with the high school queen rebecca Smith.

"dont say his name okay. give me a break Im just not ready and Alec is a player."

"okay i know i'm sorry" Lindsey says as she pulls me into my driveway I see my fathers car in the driveway.

I say bye to Lindsey and open the door slowly and close it quietly and quietly run upstairs.
Im halfway up the stairs until my father yells my name and he sounds sober...

"coming" I say and walk down the stairs into the kitchen and I see him cooking eggs.
"how was school honey" my father asks.
"why do you care?" I say mad that he thinks he can still call me 'honey' he lost that privilege the day he stopped being my dad.
"Don't get sassy with me young lady! I bought you a gift come sit down"
I listen and sit down on one of the kitchen chairs.
"okay just close you eyes and hold your hands out" I hesintely held my hands out and closed my eyes.
I hear noise and the stove turn off. I hear footsteps come closer until they stop.

The next thing I knew there was something hot on my hand. "ahhh!" I scream and open my eyes and see a hot steaming pan and my father smirking.

"dont ever think I wont catch you. Dont try to sneak in my house and just go upstairs right away young lady!" My father says angrily and throws the steaming pan to me face.

I scream so loud my father punches me in the eye and I fall off the chair and I hear the door close and a car pull out of the drive way.
I slowly fall into a deep sleep on my kitchen floor...
I hear someone run in the house and they start shaking me yelling my name all I say is...
"Alec"
