Chapter 6

{The Next Day – In The Hokage's Office}

Third Hokage's POV:

I was just walking into my office when I felt a faint trace of an unknown chakra signature. I stopped and looked around but nothing looked like it was touched. Walking towards my desk I stopped again because that chakra signature was slightly stronger at my desk. I looked at my desk; I was looking for anything different when I saw it. A folded piece of parchment was sitting on my desk. Then I froze, my eyes widened, the name that was written on that folded parchment was Godfather and it had a symbol of a moon too. I raced around my desk and sat there looking at the parchment. A few tears left my eyes, 'Emi, My Gentle Moon' I thought as I touched it.

But before I opened it, I got my crystal ball out. Looking into it I thought of last night here in my office. With patience I sat and watched all that had happened last night after I left. It was just starting to become morning when I saw the window silently open a small crack that no one could possibly fit through but as I watched a black butterfly flew through the crack. When the butterfly landed on the floor, I blinked and missed what happened because one minute that black butterfly was there then the next a little girl with red hair and golden eyes was in its place. My eyes widened and another tear fell, "Emi," I whispered quietly. I watched as she looked around then slowly made her way to my desk then started her writing. When she finished she smiled and looked up then grinned. With that grin she disappeared and that butterfly was back. When it flew out the window silently closed.

After I was done with my crystal ball, I looked back at the note that she left. Wiping my tears, I opened it.

And this is what I read,

'Dear godfather,

I just thought I would let you know that Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuuga are with me now. So you don't have to worry too much. I'll take good care of them. If you would like to know the reasons why I have them and them not in your village, well if you continue to read you will get your answers.

I found Naruto curled up in an ally trying to be as small as possible. When I reached to touch him, he curled up into himself even more. I got mad and sad at the same time. When I found out the reason why he acted the way he did I was very, very mad. Some villagers AND ninja alike were both throwing things at him and hitting him. So I asked him if he would like to leave for a while that way he could grow up without worrying about being attacked.

For Sasuke, I had seen that Itachi was going to murder the clan because of them trying to start a war with the village. So I had a small chat will Itachi to see if he would like me to look after Sasuke for him. That way he wouldn't be alone and he would always have a feeling of family. Then after my talk with Itachi I went and visited with Sasuke at the academy while he was on his lunch break then I gave him a bracelet that he could contact me with for when he saw all of his clansmen dead. With that he was confronted with Itachi, he used the bracelet and summoned me to where he was. When I arrived I smiled sadly at Itachi then grabbed Sasuke and transported out of there.

With Hinata, I just finished with talking to her not to long before I came to write you this letter. Because I had noticed how even though she was oldest child in the head Hyuuga family, she was getting treated like she had no talent and told repeatedly that she was weak by not only her cousin but her FATHER too. And I felt bad for her, so when I talked to her I gave her a choice to of whither to stay here or come with me. And she too chose to come with me. So at this very moment she has been packing some of her things for when it's time to leave we could just leave.

I'm sorry that I had to do this to you godfather but I felt bad for them. And I wanted to give them a better chance at happiness. And yes I'm going to be training them to become ninjas too don't worry about that. Hehe they might even be better than Kakashi the famous copycat or maybe even you godfather. I can't wait to see that it would be very funny. Hehehehehehehehe!
