I smile and look up at Peeta.

I forgot how amazing it feels to be in his arms. How beautiful his eyes are. How much I long for him.
I just want to kiss him again. I want to feel that hunger I felt on the beach, the hunger I have not had much experience with.

But he no longer loves me. I am too broken. I am just a girl who got herself into trouble. I ruined my chances with the boy with the bread.

When we get to thirteen, I am pulled away from Peeta on a rolling bed. He runs after me but the doctors hold him back.
I tell the doctors to let him in, and they finally obey. He comes in and carefully hugs me. He just sits in a chair while the doctors clean my wounds.
It hurts. Bad.

They hand me a rag so I can stifle my screams.

Once they are finished cleaning, they stitch me up. It doesn't hurt as much. Then, they bandage me, and tell me I have to stay here for another day. The doctor shoots medicine. through my arm with an IV. I feel instant relief.

The doctor leaves, and I am left with Peeta. I still can't really talk, so we just stare into each other's eyes. Any normal person would call this situation awkward, but after all we've been through, this is not awkward at all. It's perfect.

I soon fall asleep into a nightmare filled slumber.

I look around. To my left is a forest. To my right, a lake. I am standing in the middle of a big golden horn. The cornucopia.
I am back in the 74th hunger games arena.
I see him. Peeta. His leg is bleeding out from Cato's sword.
Behind him is a white wolf mutt. It has snake like eyes, and blood is dripping from its mouth.
Peeta falls. I run over to him, trying to scream his name. I cannot speak.
The mutt slowly morphs into President Coriolanus Snow. He has a small device in his hand.
"Oh, my dear miss Everdeen. You made a mistake."
I give him a confused look.
"That mistake, was letting everyone you love die. And most of which happened like this. Goodbye."
He presses a button on the device and the ground explodes beneath me. Now I can scream.
The last thing I see is his eyes. They look so realistic.

I wake up screaming my lungs out, as much as it hurts. Peeta is shaking me.

"Katniss! Calm down! It's not real! I'm here! Not real!" He screams.

I embrace him, staining his shirt with my tears. As soon as I stop crying, he speaks up again.
"Would you like to talk about it?"
I nod.
"President snow was a d-dog mutt and he t-turned back I-into a human and e-exploded you j-just like m-my d-dad." I sob again.

He rocks me back and forth, repeating "I'm okay. I'm right here with you."
