Riza's P.O.V

"Okay is it rolling?" The African American guy said as the guy who held the camera nodded his head.

"Good." He whispered standing straight and faced the camera.

"Hello Rick, you may not know me, but I know you all to well." He started.

"If you haven't notice by now... One of your members from your group is missing
"So Rick, lets make a deal. Gimme the prison for your beloved Riza." The guy said.

He walked away from the camera and walked to me.

"Okay doll face let's 'show' you to them." He said as he pulled the chair I was bond to in front of the camera.

"In three days we will meet at the plasma down in Queen Loves Street at noon. If you are not there it will be another 3 painful days for doll face over here." The African American said as he walked towards me and patted my hair.

"Here's one example of what will happen if you don't come to full fill the deal." He said clenching his fist and grabbed a fistful of my hair.

I tried to scream no and kick my feet back, but the rope and tape held me back.

Three times he hit my stomach, only taking a second to stop and letting me feel the pain.

"Three days Grimes." He said leaving me to cry while they stopped the tape.

Carl's P.O.V

I watched as the footage again for the a thousandth time.

"Carl you got to get some sleep." Dad said as he passed by my cell.

"I-I can't." I answered replying the film but he took it from my hands.

"Get some sleep son, your coming with us tomorrow to get her." I huffed and grabbed the sheriffs hat.

"Night." He said.

"Night." I said back.

Early the next morning Dad woke everyone up who was participating in the 'rescue' mission.

"Here's the plan Carl, Glenn, and Michonne you'll come with me to get Riza. Carl stay behind me! Sasha, Daryl, Maggie, and Therese you would be stationed on top of the buildings-" "So we're going to get there before they do?" Sasha asked.

"You all will get there before we get there, if you can let the walkers roam so they would expect someone there." Dad explain.

"And if there's people there?" Daryl asked.

"Kill 'em." Dad answered simply before continuing with the plan. "After we have Riza, I want you, Carl, to take her and stay in a car. The rest of us will kill the rest that is there."

On our way there I looked out the window while playing with sheriffs hat. What if they hurt Riza? Or did something to dramatize her? They probably touched her and made her scared. Maybe worse! They killed her and is giving us a walker not Riza.

"Carl come on let's go." Dad said as I wore the hat and slipped out of the car, making sure I have my gun with me.

"Ah, hello Grimes! Oh and you brought the other man in your family." The African American said holding Riza close to his body.

"Riza!" I exclaimed running to the front of the small group.

She was in rags. Nothing much to what she was wearing but an oversize shirt and hopefully has something under that.

"Whoa whoa hold on a moment." The guy said grabbing a gun and placing it by her head.

Riza started to shake her head but the guy held her tighter.

"Rick the prison is ours?" He asked as Dad nodded his head.

"Good, and what about the people that is living in their?" He asked.

"They are evacuating as we speak." Dad answered.

"Okay, go on doll face." He said to Riza cutting the rope around her wrists and taking the tape off of her mouth.

He said something to her and she nodded her head before turning to us. She limped her way to us and once she got further away from them she ran.

"Go on Carl." Dad said as I ran towards her.

It was like a movie moment but in a different world.

I hugged her tightly, but she whimpered doing so.

"I'm sorry Riza." I said hugging her than picking her up and walked to the car, like the plan intended.

I placed her in the car first, then got into the car.

"Do you need anything?" I asked even though there wasn't much I could offer her at the moment.

She nodded her head, "Water?" She said, her voice was dry and it cracked just saying a simple words.

"Ye-Yeah." I said quickly reaching for the front and grabbed my water bottle.

She chugged down the water as if it was her first time drinking it.

"Hey calm down before you start choking on it." I panicked. She stopped drinking the water and I panicked again.

"No, no, no! You can drink it just not too fast!" I said.

"No, I'm fine now." She said, her voice sounding normal again.

Then gunshots were heard. Riza jumped in fear, I quickly grabbed her fragile body and held it to mine.

Some of the people from the other group started shooting at the cars. I dragged Riza down with me to the space between the backseat and the passenger seat.

Riza's legs were on either side of my legs, her small hand gripped my shirt, and she buried her face into my chest. I held her close to me trying to block the noise out.

"Riza?" I said as she looked at me. I placed my lips gently on hers giving a small passionate kiss.

The gunshots stopped and we pulled away. I waited a for a few seconds before another one was heard an dad yelled that it was fine to come out.

Riza got up first and gasp at the sight. "Shit!" I exclaimed forgetting that there wasn't going to be a beautiful view.

"Crap, sorry baby girl I forgot." I apologize hiding her face into my chest again.

I looked out the window seeing the pools of blood and deform bodies.

We weren't that far from the scene but then we weren't that close either.

At least she's safe now.
