Carl's P.O.V

On the road... Again.

Fucking priest, it's his fault, his fault we left, his fault why Therese and Beth died! It was probably his fault that Bob died as well.

"You okay?" I asked Riza as we sat on the ground for a break.

She looked at me, her left eye was bruised pretty bad and she had a cuts on her right cheek.

"I'm fine." She mumbled.

There were bruises and cuts on her neck. Yet she manages to walk, run, tell jokes (unlike Gabriel), and smile

I pulled her into a hug.

"Carl I'm really okay." She said trying to shake me off.

"No your not Riza, I really don't know how you do this. I really wish I knew how, but don't hide your feelings from me." I said pushing away some strands of hair from her face.

"I feel like..." Riza sighed, "I feel like shit. I want to crawl into a hole an die. I want to scream, I want to kick someone, I just want to cry, and want to be able to move around without feeling any pain."

I looked at her knowing the feeling. Every time I look at her scars I get that feeling, but the pain goes to me emotionally.

I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into a hug.

No words.

She whimpered and tried to get into a comfortable position.

Everyone was silent, no one talked, no one moved, except for Judith.

"Carl there are dogs." Riza whispered as I looked behind myself.

*Bang* *Bang* *Bang*

The three dogs fell lifeless into the ground.

"See the devil is possessing him! Three dogs dead!" Gabriel cried.

"Shut up, these dogs are call food." I said as Daryl and Abraham picked them up and prepared them.

~~~
"I need some water." Riza reloading her guns.
"Well what if the water is poisoned?" I asked looking at the jugs of water that was dropped off by someone.
"It's a good thing that it is going to rain." Riza said as I played with her hair.
"Yeah? How so?" I asked.
"The clouds are gather together rapidly and the clouds are a deep shade of grey, it's going to be a terrible storm." she answered.
"Huh, your right." I said watching the cloud's movement.
Suddenly a rain drop landed perfectly on her nose, I kissed her nose before more rain came down.
I took my hat off and gave it
to Dad who held Judith so he could cover her. Everyone smiled as they stood up and opened their mouths.
"I told you." Riza smiled as we embraced the rain. Some people looked at the water around her turning a light shade of red.
I walked over to her and gave her a hug as lightning and thunder came to show.
"We got to go!" Daryl yelled over the noise. "There's a barn not to far from here!" He added as we followed him.
