Time Skip (2/3 years later)

Riza ended up healing fine of course with some difficulty like that shortage of medical supplies and that Hershel isn't a people doctor, but an animal doctor.

Carl watched the Woodberry people come into the prisons gates. He wasn't very happy that the people who once live in a community with a ruler who wanted Carl and the rest of the group dead, came to start a community with them.

"Ey, come on Carl, it won't be that bad." Riza said as she walked up to Carl.

"Yeah wait 'til they do something to you." Carl huffed.

"Why me? They could do anything to anyone here, like hurt little two year old Judith." Riza said back to the sixteen year old boy.

"You making it worse." Carl said back.

"Look of the bright side! We'll make friends." Riza pointe out watching a group of boys and girls around their age enter the Prison.

"I don't wanna make friends! Your the only friends I'll ever need!" Carl said raising his voice and hugging Riza.

Carl made sure to catch the attention of the Woodberry guys hoping that they'll get the message that Riza was his, even though they weren't official.

"Fine just put a happy face for me please." Riza said hugging him back, and she made sure that the girls of Woodberry got the message not to go near Carl even though she was petit and looked like she couldn't hurt anyone or anything.

It's funny how after being best friends for seven years none of them confessed their love for each other.

Probably because Carl was scared that Riza won't like his back and Riza was sacred of being rejected.

But they have done almost everything together; slept, showered (when they were younger), shared germs (not kissing), and even had a light make out session but never told anyone about it.

Carl walked inside leaving Riza to go with her dad.

"Riza what did I say about being with him?" Hershel said looking at Riza.

"Not to." Riza answered as Hershel continued the check up on the people entering the prison.

"So why do you continue to be with him?" Hershel asked another question.

"Because he's the only friend I got, at the moment." Riza answered and looked at Hershel.

Hershel got up and pulled Riza away from the Woodberry people.

"Riza I told you not to go anywhere near him because he murdered someone without mercy. Riza you were there when he killed that boy!" Hershel said as Riza nodded my head.

She couldn't avoid that and Carl promised her that he would never kill anyone unless they are trying to hurt him, someone that he loves, or a walker.

"But he did it to protect us!" Riza protested.

"No he did it because he was scared!" Hershel exclaimed as Riza stood still in shock.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to raise my voice, but I'm just scared that he will hurt you." Hershel quickly apologize.

"It's alright." Riza said looking down.

He would never hurt me. Riza thought.

"Hey cheer up, there's more kids your age now and you can make other friends." Hershel said.

"But Carl-" "No buts! That enough with Carl! Now go see if your sisters need any help!" Hershel demanded feed up with Carl.

Riza's P.O.V

I stared at Maggie as she cleaned her and Glenn's cell.

How are we related?

We don't look alike, she has a country accent and I don't. I sound like those people from Canada.

How they always say "Aye" and drink maple syrup? I don't know, I just remember what my friends from before use to say about those people. How they were really nice and spell differently.

"Maggie?" I said as she looked at me.

"Yes?" She said wanting me to continue.

"I asked Beth this question two, maybe three years ago, but how am I related to you?" I asked.

"Riza I think you should be able to take the truth." Maggie said as she told me the truth.
