Third Person's P.O.V

"You need to stop getting into fights." A familiar voice said.

"You didn't heard what he said about you." A deeper voice said.

"It's doesn't matter what Ron said-" "Riza?" Rick said opening his eyes.

He was in the hospital. The hospital he woke up in when the world went to shit.

"How did he know my name?" Riza whispered as Carl shrugged his shoulders.

"Hey dad, nice to see your back from the dead." Carl said smiling.

He was seventeen now, Riza soon turning sixteen.

"A lot has happened but for now rest." Carl said as a nurse came in and smiled.

"Sorry to cut this short but visiting hours is over." She said politely as Carl and Riza walked hand in hand out of the door.

But before they left Riza looked over her shoulder to see Rick looking at her. She gave a light him which made him smile back.

Riza has the same features; freckles, big brown eyes, and dimples.

I guess love is strong enough that it could travel to alternate universes. Rick thought.

"She is a keeper." The nurse said. "A boy came her last week and Carl and the boy went on a full blown fight as Riza tried to stop them."

Suddenly a memory of Carl and Ron fighting in the garage popped up in his mind.

"Oh those two are just the cutest couple I have ever seen, he's so over protective of her." She continued.

I know, I witnessed it in an other life.

"Would you like some water?" The nurse asked as Rick nodded his head.

Shane better not have touched Lori.

"Carl," Riza said as he started his car.

"Yeah princess?"

"I had a nightmare last night, we were in a world where zombies existed, except we called them walkers and we died." Riza said.

"Hmm, princess it was only a nightmare. When we do die we'll be in a bed together cuddled up with wrinkly skin and knowing that we have satisfied lives and our children will be okay." Carl said as Riza held his hand.

"Okay." Riza said as Carl drove back to the farm where Hershel was waiting for him.

~~~
"So your telling me you had a dream, like Riza's, where we and died?" Carl said.
"Yeah but Riza lived far away on a farm." Rick said.
"Oh yeah, she had to relocate because something happened to her old farm, she moved here during sixth grade." Carl said.
"Carl what ever you two do, never leave each other." Rick said as Carl nodded.
Suddenly Carl's phone started to ring, "Sorry dad, it's Riza."
"Go on ahead." Rick said.
"Hey Princess... Yeah... Shit, today?... Yeah I'm sorry... No, no... I'm on my way... I promise I'll make it up to you... Sorry... I'm coming right now, I love you... Bye." Carl said hanging up afterwards.
"Fuck, sorry dad, I totally forgot today I had something planned with Riza." Carl said grabbing his
coat.
"Let me guess, it's her birthday today." Riza said.
"Yeah... How did you know." Carl said.
"It was just a hunch." Rick lied. "Now go on, you never want to keep a girl waiting."
The End!
