Riza's P.O.V

Where is Rick? I thought as I pass by my dad.

"Riza, where are you going?" He asked.

"Trying to find Rick, Carl needs him." I said.

"He hasn't shown up yet." Dad said.

"Thanks." I said walking away to get some water.

"Riza!" Dad called out for me. I stopped walking and looked at him.

"Yes daddy?" I said.

"Never mind, just be careful." He said as I nodded my head and continued walking to get some water.

~~~
The next day wasn't any better.
Carl was still sad, he told me he killed her before she turned into a walker.
I felt pity for him but he said to not feel sorry or sad.
Carl didn't eat that much or talked, he did played with Judith for a little bit, then went somewhere for a long while.
Rick isn't being the father he's suppose to be and yelled at a group of defenseless people that obviously needed our help!
They seemed nice though.
Why does everything have to be like this? Why does everything need a sacrifice for what we want? I asked myself.
Carl's P.O.V
I saw Riza sitting by herself and wondered why.
"Hey Riz!" I said too lazy to say the 'a' at the end.
She looked at me and smiled.
"Her Car." She mocked me.
"What are you doing here all by yourself?" I asked.
"Sorry dad I was waiting for Maggie to come back but then got bored." She answered sarcastically.
"Oh hahaha your grounded!" I said in a deep tone.
"Grounded? It's not like I'm going to space." She said as we both laughed.
"Your such a dork!" Riza said as I pretended to push up my glasses.
"Well a thank you, a thank you very much." I said.
"That's Elvis smart one." She said laughing harder.
Then it went quiet between us, not a word was said.
But that was normal: laughter, silence, then talk.
"Is Rick okay?" Riza asked.
"I don't know. He should just man up, he's acting like mom was his only family." I said kinda mad that he just left.
"And is Hershel doing fine?" I asked.
"Dad is fine, he just misses his leg that's all." She said with a light chuckled.
"Carl do you think we could really call this place a sanctuary, a place where we'll be safe?" Riza asked as she looked deep into the woods that surrounded the prison.
"Maybe." I answered not wanting to get her hopes up, "but I believed this place will be just fine!" I said giving her a hug.
"Now do you want to see if there's anything to eat?" I asked hoping there's food.
"Sure." Riza said.
~~~

Later that day a strange woman arrived at the prison with Judith's formula.

She was covered in walkers blood and blood of her own.

~~~
"I want to go! Maggie is my sister meaning she's family and family looks out for each other!" Riza said to Hershel.
When the African women woke up she told us that a dude that goes by The Governor kidnapped Maggie and Glenn. That African named Michonne claims to know Andrea.
The Governor lived in a town secured with a wall and people on a 24/7 watch with loaded guns.
Of course dad (who finally came back from his tantrum and sent a group of people away) was the first to respond.
Everyone knows that Riza is adopted, does Hershel wants to tell her hopefully not any time soon.
Anyways Riza wants to go back Hershel or Rick keeps saying no.
"Fine." She mumbled as she walked beside me and crossed her arms.
Awe she's cute where she's frustrated! I thought as I focused my attention back to dad.
He seemed bothered (other than the fact mom died).
"Riza do you have any feeling that something bad is going to happen?" I asked as Riza simply shook her head.
"Are you sure?" I asked as she nodded her head.
If she says nothing is wrong than nothing is wrong. I reassured myself.
I looked at dad as he got the group figured out and went off.
Riza left to go to bed shortly after they went to Woodbury.
