“Let's just say Blaze isn't the 'superhero' type of guy.” I just looked at Frankie, confusion was clear on my face, “Just don't worry about it, Nessa.” He said, shaking his head.

“You should go now, thought. Get somethng to eat.” Frankie said.

Frankie was honesty like an older brother to me, he cared about me a lot and my parents absolutely adored him. I swear they want me to marry him.

I nodded my head and took off to go find Kayla.

“Finally, you're here.” Kayla exclaimed as I took a spot beside her in the forum.

“Yeah, sorry. I was just telling Frankie about everything.”

“It's fine. But get this. You know the slums?” I nodded my head, of course I knew the slums. Everyone did.

“Well the kids that live down there, like all the badasses, are gonna get in fights with the guys that live where we live.” Her voice was full of excitement.

    I rolled my eyes, “Great.”

“Jordan and Trevor are fighting too.” I stopped chewing the fry that was in mouth and swallowed it.

“Jordan is not fighting.” I said sternly.

“Vanessa, he already told me he was going too, he didn't really want me to watch thought. But I'm watching anyways.” I rolled my eyes.

“You're going to let your boyfriend get hurt?” I questioned her.

“He's strong, Nessa. He knows what he's doing.” I shook my head.

“So what if he knows what he's doing. They probably know what they're doing too.”

I swear Kayla wasn't smart sometimes, especially when it came to fighting.

“Whatever, I'm staying and watching. You should too, it's your type of thing.” She shrugged.

Yes, it was my type of thing. But not when my best friend was involved in it especially since he could get seriously hurt. Some people that fight are completely ruthless and will even stomp on your head if they get the chance, how doesn't Kayla realize that?

    I sighed, “Fine, I'll stay.” I muttered.

I tapped my pencil on my desk and stared at the clock. I didn't intentionally sigh, but it came out. The fight was going to begin right after school.

The rest of the school day went by quickly, everything was a blur. Everywhere I walked everyone was talking about the fight or should I say fights. And before I knew it I was sitting outside of the school with Kayla.

“Ou, there's Blaze.” I heard a few girls that were near me murmur, my eyes quickly darted to where they were looking and sure enough there stood Blaze, standing with his arms crossed in front of his chest.

“Which one of you 'rich' kids want to take me?” He shouted.

I rolled my eyes, now isn't that classy.

Guys stared at Blaze but no one actually moved.

I waited impatiently to find out who Blaze was going to fight. And finally someone stepped forward. I felt my stomach turn when I saw that the person that stepped forward was Jordan. He was honestly going to fight Blaze?

Even though Blaze was wearing a t-shirt you could still tell that he had muscles, he wasn't scrawny. Jordan showed off his muscles though, by wearing a wife beater.
