When practice was over Aidon did a quick calculation. Either they went home or he let Dia use the bathroom at school which was past the 30 metre safety limit. He stood up and walked over to her, noticing the few stares of confusion and curiosity(or both) that he was receiving.
"Home. Now." He said to her under his breath knowing some people watching knew Greek, and he couldn't converse with her in ancient Greek since that was something even she didn't entirely know.
"But I have to-" she began to protest.
"Now." He repeated, more firmly. She held her breath, glaring at him.
"Fine." She concluded. Picking up her stuff, she followed him out but as they approached the car, a voice stopped them.
"Aidon!" The girl running after them was Jenna. Dia's eyes darkened but Aidon didn't notice. "When should I get there? Oh, are you dropping her home?" Jenna smiled at Dia sweetly. As much as the girl's beauty was overpowering, her attitude sometimes ticked her off. She would often get the vibe from Dia that Dia didn't like her as much as she thought and was only trying to take her spot as the most popular one around. She didn't like that. No, not at all. Jenna took a step towards Aidon. She couldn't have the newbie take her crush too. "So?" She smiled at Aidon.
"An hour." Aidon shoved Dia into the car and stepped in beside her. The car sped off, not giving Jenna a chance to reply.
"What's with her?" Dia scowled.
"She thinks I'd date her." Aidon sighed.
"Why won't you." Dia scoffed.
"Cause I don't like her?" Aidon questioned calmly.
"Whatever. Is she coming over or something?"
"Yes. Why?"
"I know a way you can completely stop her from thinking you'd date her." She had a glint in her eye that he did not like.
"If you're planning on pretending to be my girlfriend, forget it. I'd rather you didn't touch me at all." He froze the moment he realised that he had lied. It wasn't that he yearned for it, but in an instance where he was trapped with his father, he could do with her touching him. "On a better note, it would never work. Then she would be intent on breaking us up."
"Not if I charmspeak her to like someone else."
"That's not charmspeaking."
"Excuse me? It's my ability, I can call it what I want." She smirked at him. He realised that there was no point in arguing with her. Or trying to convince her that her idea was stupid. He didn't reply to her. "I hope you'll let me borrow a shirt of yours."
"Why?"
"Don't you want to give the impression that we," she twirled both of her fore fingers, her face turned into something of a seductive glare. What is this child trying to do?! His brain screamed at him. "Ahem... Had some bedroom fun?"
"You're deranged."
"It'll work. Trust me."
ΞΞΞΞΞΞΞ
He had tossed her one of his light grey shirts before he went downstairs after one of his butlers had informed him that his guest had arrived. He was dressed in his casual red shirt, grey beanie and black pants as he approached Jenna. Her eyes glazed over.
"Wow... You look great." She smiled at him. He brushed her off.
"You want to study here or in the library?" He asked, motioning over to one of the large doors in his house.
"Library would be better... Secluded I'm guessing." Her smile turned into a smirk. He decided to ignore it and led her inside. The windows were huge and it was a large library. The light cascading from the windows were yellow and made the room glow. She sat down on one of the seats and he sat in front of her. "So..." She took out her notebook. "I've written down the parts I need help in." She pushed the book over to him. If he was meant to receive a signal from it, he didn't. Her book was decorated neatly in felt and dried leaves. He opened it and was slightly shocked to find the first page decorated neatly with a note.
I've always found you attractive
Would be a pleasure if you date me
Yes, or no?The letters were clear and he read the message two times before turning the page. The rest of the book was empty.
"Where're the notes you made?" He raised an eyebrow at her.
"That is the note. The one you read." She stood up and walked over to him, maintaining eye contact the entire time. "I'm honest there. No one had ever attracted me as much as you have..." She stopped when her chest was two inches away from his face as he looked up at her, a frown growing on his face. "You have this... Charm to you tha-" she was interrupted as the door opened and Dia strolled in, her eyes full of sleep. Aidon's lips slightly parted in shock. Not because of her sleepy face, but because of her entire appearance at the time. Jenna didn't hold back, her mouth hung open. Dia stood, the shirt obviously a little two sizes large for her as the sleeves went well over her arms, hiding her hands and the shirt reaching two inches on her thigh, nearly hanging over one shoulder. Her hair was left over one side shoulder and she was wearing a tiny pair of socks topped off with no pants.
No pants.
Aidon's mind started to scream at him. No pants. NO PANTS. She walked over, a mug in her hand. She put the mug on the table before she started to walk around it, towards him.
"I woke up, and you weren't there." Dia began. What? Aidon asked himself.
"What are you doing?!" He asked her in ancient greek, desperate for Jenna to not understand but Dia to, as she had somewhat taken a bit of lessons. But he knew she wouldn't.
"Oh hi." Dia smiled at Jenna before she put her arms on Aidon's neck and leaned in, bending over. "Hi baby."
He froze when her lips landed on his.
