"You... Are Aidon's mother?" It now made sense to her. Despite Aidon not smiling widely, there definitely was a hint of a smile on his face and it made her happy. Happy to know that he loved his mother. Persephone smiled.

"Of course dear child, can't you see the resemblance?" She half joked. "Aïdoneús, forgive my rude entrance but I just wanted to say that Zeus is planning on coming here for a stay, with Hera."

"Why? And why can't Uncle Zeus ever tell me himself why does he communicate through other people?" Aidon raised an eyebrow.

"It is so much better that way trust me." Persephone said in a rushed tone before clearing her throat and continuing. "I convinced them to come anyway. Just thought your father might be a little intimidated when his brother is around." She winked before turning to Dia. "Aphrodia, dear, let's get to know each other." She began enthusiastically as she covered Dia's hands with both her own.

"Mother, I really don't thi-" Aidon began to protest.

"Nonsense. I am going to go and spend time with Aphrodia. Or as you kids say 'hang out' with her. Come on." She laughed as she walked off, dragging Dia with her. Aidon groaned as he followed closely behind. "I must say Aphrodia, you attire is certainly most revealing." Persephone began to grin and fan her face with her delicate hands.

"Oh um no. This? This was-it was for something." Dia stuttered. Persephone gave her a teasing glance.

"Mm... Something huh." She winked. "Yummy."

"Mother? Would you like something to eat?" Aidon tried to interrupt the two.

"Oh I'm sure your chefs are already on it they'd know the moment I walk in." Persephone brushed him off. "So... How far has my son gone to violate you?"

"Mother!" Aidon groaned as Dia blushed.

"Forgive me." Persephone winced. "Ah... I am still under Zeus' control..."

"What?"

"He asked me to ask her these. You know how he is." Persephone sighed. "I should go soon as I am served the food and I eat. I am supposing he would be here by tonight."

ΞΞΞΞΞΞΞ

As expected, the doorbell rang announcing the arrival of the supreme Olympic God and his wife. Dia stood near the large stairs as the french doors opened and in strolled a well built, buff and angry looking man who seemed to always sport a frown upon his face. Behind him, followed a cheery blonde haired woman bearing a smile. She was dressed in a white toga-like dress while the man had opted for the more casual-a pair of faded jeans and a grey shirt. The woman rushed over to Aidon and pulled him into a hug.

"Hullo son." She gave him a light peck on his cheek. The man ruffled Aidon's hair.

"I'm not a child anymore, uncle." Aidon winced, conscious of Dia's curious gaze on them.

"Oh stop it Zeus." The woman lightly punched the man on his arm in a joking manner before she noticed Dia and her eyes grew wide. "Oh my... " she breathed as she approached the girl. "A-Aphrodia?" She hesitated before breaking into a grin. "Or Aphrodite?"

"Dia." She blushed before holding out her hand. "Hera, I presume?" She asked.

"That's cousin to you." The woman, Hera grabbed Dia by the shoulders and hugged her lightly.

"So where's the TV?" Zeus looked around.

"I... I don't own a TV, uncle." Aidon cleared his throat.

"Wh-How can you not own a TV?!" Zeus whined. "It's a box with tiny cute little mortals in it how can you not own one?!"

"Zeus!" Hera said sharply. "You can have a TV installed in the room. Where are we staying Aïdon?"

"Archi will show you." He pointed to a short lady standing behind them. The lady smiled.

"Come on Zeus. Let us go get comfortable."

"But I-" Zeus began. For an intimidating looking guy, he behaved pretty much like a child.

"Now."

"Fine." He drawled, rolling his eyes and following his wife towards the stairs as she climbed them. When he came by to Dia, he stopped. "Girl, your fashion sense is weak!" He shot at her.

"Excuse me?" Dia's mouth hung open. He could be supreme god or whatever but he had no right to insult her with fashion. "I would never be seen in those-those," she pointed a disgusted finger at his pants. "Things. Ever. Faded was so yesterday. No wait-forever ago."

"That's what your mother thinks. Her fashion sense is weak too." Zeus huffed.

"Oh dear. Aphrodia, darling." Hera climbed down the steps of the stairs gracefully and lightly placed her hands on Dia's shoulders from behind. "You are talking to the most adamant being ever created. He thinks overalls are fashionable. It's best you let go or this argument will never end." Hera smiled apologetically. Dia stood in silence for a moment.

"Zeus? You know what you need?" She began, raising a finger at his face. "A beard." She smiled. Zeus looked at her fondly.

"See Hera! I told you I'd look good in-" he pointed an accusing finger at his wife. "She made me shave it all off. Beards are in!" He concluded, pumping the air with his fist, causing Hera to roll her eyes, turn and proceed up the stairs. "Hm... Guess you do have a somewhat good enough sense in fashion..." Zeus winked at Dia before climbing up.

"Hurry up dear." Hera called. Dia stood, slightly dumbfounded by the supreme god's behaviour. Aidon walked up to her, thinly veiling his own bewilderment upon his face.

"I had the same reaction. He does it everytime..." He breathed.

"Wow..." Dia muttered. Aidon's expression changed back to his usual expressionless stern look.

"Phaeton told me your birthday's coming up. Then we have exactly an year apart before the fates bring us together some shitty way or the other." He changed the subject, his usual demeanor returning. "So go live your life find someone to love or something because once we're brought together, we'd be together for eternity."

"That sounds like a long time." Dia muttered almost sarcastically.

"Trust me, time won't even exist."

"Hang on-No one bothered to explain to me why we're meant to be." Dia froze. "Ok that sounded weird ew?" Her disgust was veiled onto her choice of words, not the idea. If anything, she was delighted. But she knew he was far from it.

"Seriously Aphrodia do you not pay attention at all?" He asked, raising an eyebrow slightly.

"I have better things to focus on." She rolled her eyes. He pointed a sharp finger at her and frowned at her, towering over her. Did she have a multiple personality disorder or what?

"Get rid of that attitude already." He said to her before he left her near the stairs, alone and shocked.
