He couldn't just let her die again. He could fall in love with her again maybe... Just maybe...

But he knew that Aphrodite would have her guard up and would allow no such thing.

What had he done?!

He knew he would hurt her now. If only he hadn't been so driven by a cause. Now that he was no longer blinded by any feelings at all, he could see how stupid he had exactly been behaving.

Childish.

Immature.

Overall just very unlike his usual self.

He now considered all these factors but he had not even once thought of what would happen when the two women in his house came face to face. He spent the night trying to cheer up Kylie and when day rolled in, he left her to sleep and went up to Dia's room. Her bed was empty so he assumed she was at school. He was so tired by this time, he slipped under the covers and dozed off, inhaling her scent.

"Aidon." He woke up to her voice sharply. At her bed stood Dia, frowning, arms crossed tightly against her chest. She was dressed in her cheerleading uniform. He got up, glancing at the clock briefly. 3.35PM. "Aidon where have you been?! Your mother came yesterday and told me you reconciled with your parents? Why're you here?" Her questions were confusing him right now.

"I missed you is all." It wasn't exactly a lie. He had missed her, even if it wasn't the entire reason why he had come back.

"Oh..." She seemed surprised. "Have you been sleeping all day?"

"Um..."

"Ate?" She said slowly, turning to the bathroom door. It wasn't a God's necessity to use it but it pleased them to have one. Aidon ran a hand through his hair. He couldn't take his eyes off Dia. It was as if new types of emotions had risen and he was seeing her much more differently. A huge block had been removed from his head.

"No..." He shook his head.

"Well freshen up and come down for lunch then 'cause I'm starving." She said nonchalantly. He realized she had not met Kylie yet probably. Or she wouldn't be as calm as she was being right then. She headed off into the bathroom and he stared after her.

Aidon found himself pulling out the dining table chair for Dia to sit in. She stared, wide eyed.

"You're being strange..." She muttered.

"Cause you're quite pretty." He blurted out before he could stop himself. Dia's eyes seemed close to bulging out of their eye sockets.

"D-Did you just flirt with me?!" Her cheeks began to burn up. "You're in an amazing mood then..."

"Yeah I just–" he turned, alarmed as the door  opened to the dining room and Kylie strode in.

"The maid told me you'd be..." Her eyes landed on Dia and him. "Here..." Her smile faded and she stared, confused. She walked up to them in silence. "Um..." Kylie tried. "Hi." She said to Dia, who was giving her a strange look but wasn't saying a thing. "Am I interrupting something?"

"No no. You're just in time for lunch, sit." Aidon forced a smile and motioned to a seat. Dia looked away and sat down in her seat, refusing to look at Aidon. Kylie sat down across from her and Aidon managed to take his seat as well.

"Aren't you going to... Introduce us?" Kylie began. Dia glared at her, her fork and knife at the ready.

"You do not speak at the dining table." She said sharply, evidently on edge and wondering who this girl was. Kylie blushed and waited for the maid to prepare the food on her plate. They ate in awkward silence and Dia got up to leave when she was finished.

"Dia." Aidon's hand flew to Dia's on the table, halting her. Silence passed between the three before Dia yanked her hand free.

"Explain to me later." She said rudely and turned away, walking off.

"Hey!" Kylie got up, snapping at Dia. "Don't talk to him like that."

"Who are you?!" Dia glared again.

"Kylie. Kylie Anderson. You have no right to talk to my boyfriend like that." She announced-blurted more like. She didn't exactly feel comfortable using the term 'boyfriend', as she wasn't sure if he still was her boyfriend and didn't know who this other girl was to him. Dia stared, speechless. Aidon sighed.

Dia looked from Aidon to Kylie for the longest time, highly confused. She glared at Aidon this time.

"You." She spat in his face before storming off. Kylie sighed in relief, turning to Aidon.

"Wow... Who is she?" She asked, sitting back down.

He didn't know how to answer her. He wasn't exactly sure. He had never regretted a choice he had made so far except this very one. Bringing Kylie back was a mistake; and this he knew now. His answer would hurt her–crush her if his luck was unfortunate and he knew the Goddess of Luck didn't particularly favor him right then.

"My fiancée..."
