Hades had left in a hurry. Aidon hadn't even bothered to look at his father as he walked off. Dia was no longer in danger of him, or so he had said. Aidon wouldn't trust his father that easily. Hades was known for being deceitful. Zeus and Hera left that evening. Unlike Aidon, Zeus trusted his brother and knew him better. Aidon just had the grudge that held him back.

"Who escaped?" Dia asked later, sitting on a desk in the library, one leg crossed over the other while a finger played with a strand of her hair.

"Some demi-god." Aidon tossed carelessly. When she didn't reply, he looked up from his book and saw her expectant gaze. He sighed. "A child of Zeus."

"Why is this such a big deal?"

"Because..." He stopped. Did he really know? "I don't know?! Must be some evil god child or something." He shrugged.

"But how can a child of Zeus be evil?" Dia raised an eyebrow.

"Again; I do not know." Aidon tried to make his tone more snappy but it came out in an annoyed tone. "You do know that demi-gods are killed for a reason? They aren't immortal. Well... They are partially. They can't be killed by a mortal." He froze as the door opened and Phaeton walked in.

"Would you believe it." He chuckled, looking down and shaking his head as he walked into the room. "Hades has gone mad!" He grinned as the door closed behind him.

"What?" Dia turned to see him.

"That soul escaped nearly a week ago. The moment it stepped onto Earth, Cerberus wailed to alert you people. He wasn't hurt. It took Persephone three hours to figure out why the damned dog was cowering in a corner. Not because he was hurt. But because he had fucked up and was scared to face his master."

"What are you talking about?!" Aidon stood up. "And stop talking in English what are you trying to do?! Reveal everything to my mortal servants?" He frowned.

"Right." Phaeton came to the table and sat down, taking a deep breath. "The soul escaped nearly a week ago. Cerberus, your father and you can sense when a soul steps onto Earth again after death. Especially if it was a demi-god there is no question in that. The soul was recovered 'inside' the Underworld. Without Hades' knowledge either he is furious as fuck right now." Phaeton laughed harder. "For a soul to rise back up from the Underworld it would take over 3-4 mortal days. For a soul of a forbidden demi-god to be recovered it would take nearly a month. Again; mortal time. Also take note... A month back was also the time-and trust me we only received this news just then-that the Golden Fleece was stolen."

"The Golden Fleece?" Dia questioned.

"Later." Aidon shrugged her off. Phaeton continued.

"We're guessing who ever did this, spent a lot of time searching for the burial ground of this Demi-God. This one was well hidden. And whoever knew of it are either buried or a sworn Olympic God..."

"What is the name of this Demi-God?" Dia began.

"You do not want to know." Phaeton widened his eyes.

Since Zeus and Hera had left, Dia decided to invite Meg over anyway. Dia let the maid open the door and there stood Meg, dressed in a cute little dress that Dia certainly would kill to own. Not literally. But after a moment, it wasn't the dress that caught her attention. It was the gorgeous raven-haired girl who stood behind Meg. Dia had to will her mouth not to drop open at the sight of her. She had a mischievous look in her eyes and her lips broke into a smirk when she saw her.

"This is my cousin Hera." Meg beamed.

"Hera?! After the greek Goddess?!" Dia became even more shocked.

"My dad was a huge myth fanatic." The girl grinned, holding out her hand. Dia immediately took it.

"Come on in." Dia stepped away, letting the two girls walk in. They walked into the living room, passing casual conversation about eachother. Hera was visiting Meg for the holidays of her boarding school and had arrived a day ago. Hera had certain interests similar to Dia. Like the way they both loved physical activities. Except, Hera leaned in more towards the strenuous activities such as wrestling or weight lifting while Dia preferred dancing or cheerleading. When they reached the living room, Meg and Hera both froze as their eyes landed on Aidon who sat on one of the couches. Meg took a step towards Dia.

"I thought this was your parent's new place. Why is he here?" She whispered. Aidon turned to look at her.

"This is my place." He said calmly. When he saw Hera, his brain began to yell at him. Sure, she was pretty but she seemed vaguely familiar. She reminded him of Kylie. There was this aroma from her. He looked away and averted his gaze from the girls, going back to the magazine in his hand. He knew this scent and he knew he hadn't smelled it since Kylie died. The only problem was... He couldn't place it.

"Why did we come here? Why we-" Meg began.

"I live here now. With him." Dia's quick response made Meg gasp. Hera turned to face her.

"Is he your boyfriend or some-" she began.

"N-" Dia was about to say No knowing Aidon would say it before her which she couldn't bear since he was attractive and that would be a rejection in front of Meg, who obviously knew Dia liked Aidon. It would be a major embarrassment but she was interrupted in turn, by Aidon.

"She's my fiancée." Aidon words made everyone freeze in shock.

"What?" Meg began in a flat tone. "Well that escalated quickly." She tried to suppress a grin. "You know... It's true what you always say." She turned to Dia. "When you want something, you always get it."

"Of course." Dia beamed. "I'm me." She did a small curtesy before continuing to walk. "To my room girls."

"Don't you two share a room?" Meg half joked.

"I'd like to marry a virgin." Aidon answered, not looking up from his magazine. When the girls left, he sighed. Dia would probably demand some explanations later tonight. But it was technically true, what he had said. Even if it wasn't official, they were bound to get married in almost an year. Which reminded him. Dia's birthday was in two days.

Fuck.

Let the countdown begin.
