"Hey Yhuki! Wait up!" Xyred called out.
I was running to school again. Sa kakaturo ko kay Selynna, nakalimutan nanaman ni Smart-Aleck Yhuki na gawin ang kanyang English homework.
"Varsity ka diba? Try to catch up!" sagot ko kay Xyred then sped up. Soon enough, naunahan na ako ni Xy. He started to smirk when he found out that I was breathing heavily. I just rolled my eyes at him then nag-focus ako sa kung paano ko masasagutan ang homework ko on time if ang first class namin ay English.
Soon, nakaabot na kami ni Xyred sa school. Thirty minutes pa bago mag-start yung classes. I started to do my homework pero hindi ako maka-concentrate dahil sa mga kaklase kong mga babae. They're showering me with compliments and I appreciate that. Pero mas maaappreciate ko kung hindi nila hahawakan ung buhok ko and try to get me in a conversation every thirty seconds! And ang mas nakakainis pa is the fact na tinatawanan lang ako ni Xyred at hindi man lang ako tulungan. Ughhh...
"Uhmm... Hi Yhuki. If you want, I'll do your homework for you while you handle them. Pero okay lang ba na samahan mo ko mag-merienda bukas, please?" A sudden voice suggested. It was Melanie... and was she just casually asking me out? I looked at the time. 2 minutes na lang bago mag-start ang class. Matalino ako, kakayanin kong sagutan ang homework ko in less than a minute. Pero isabay mo ang malalanding babae? Nope. Mga ten hours pa siguro bago ko matapos.
"Oh, hey Melanie. Sige, patulong sa homework ko. Pero pwede mag-merienda nalang tayo sa Saturday? Busy ako bukas eh. Alam mo naman diba? Mag-tututor pa ako kay Selynna. So sa Saturday nalang. I can just tell Selynna na rest muna then start ulit sa pag-tutor on Monday," I babbled to her. Woah woah, wait. Did I just... Did I just agree to go on a date? Ghad, sabog talaga ako ngayon.
"Okay. Sa Saturday nalang. Hihintayin kita sa coffee shop dyan malapit sa bahay niyo, alright?" She replied with a sweet and genuine smile. I returned the smile nodded. I handed my book to her and left me to handle these girls. I can't believe it. Mamamatay ako sa Saturday. Hindi naman kami close dati ah. Bakit gusto niya na makipag-merienda sakin ngayon? Waaaahhhh!!! Hindi ko alam ung mga ginagawa sa date! Ayoko naman mag-disappoint kahit I don't like her the way she likes me.
"Oh em ghee!! Makikipag-date ka sa nerd na yun? You should set your standards high.
