Luke's P.O.V

When we reached our house about one hour from where we found her. I think I might have given her a concussion because she hasn't woken up yet. I feel really bad.

She will want to know what Calum was doing to that girl and we have lasted this long without anyone finding out about us, but I guess we knew someone would find out eventually.

Anyway, above all, she is gorgeous. Her long, dark brown hair falls is loose curls and her face is flawless. Her eyelashes are long and her lips were shining in the few street lamps we passed. I'll admit, I felt attracted to her, but we could never happen... Ever! It just can't.

"So, what are we going to do?" Calum asked.

To be honest, I didn't know.

"Well, we all know she will have questions, and she won't want to stay with us willingly. We'll have to detain her for now, but we have more rooms than we need, and more money than sense, so I think we will be able to handle a young human girl!" Michael answered.

After all this chit-chat, we eventually make it to the house. What's normal for us, will be a huge change for her. We have no idea what to expect from her and we don't expect her to come quietly. I pick a room which is easily accessible to all of us, incase of an emergency and lay her down on her new bed. She stirs, but does not awaken, just turns with a pained expression on her face. I pull the blanket from the foot of the bed over her, careful not to wake her.

Then, I make my way silently down the stairs and into the main room, where all of the boys were waiting, not exactly quietly. Calum had clearly been in a fight with either Michael or Ashton, but I'm going to put my money on Michael, as Calum was putting his dislocated arm back in place. Ashton had left the room and I heard him open the fridge in the kitchen.

"Could you just stop for five minutes. Please! If you wake her up, you can deal with her. Does that sound good to you?" I angrily asked them.

"Fine." Calum and Michael said in unison.

At this point Ashton came back in with a mug in his hand. Since only Calum got to hunt tonight, we were all pretty thirsty.

"Umm... Where's ours Ash?" Michael asked Ashton.

"I think you are more than capable of getting it yourself." Ashton replied.

Michael let out an angry sigh and stormed off into the kitchen. Coming back minutes later with two mugs. He handed one to me.

"Thanks" I said, extremely grateful to let the red liquid slide down my throat. It's nothing like the fresh stuff, but it quenches our thirst. Calum was lucky to find someone alone tonight. Since Michael's incident two months ago, everyone had been advised to go around in groups of at least three, and in a small town like Nuneaton, everyone knows everyone. This means that no one is ever alone. You just get the occasional few that are dumb enough to go alone on one of our hunting nights.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a shuffle upstairs.

Megan's P.O.V

I woke up in an unfamiliar room, in an unfamiliar bed. My head is pounding and I can hear the pounds in my ears. I sat on the bed blinking hard, trying to get the focus back into my eyes. Without any luck, I remained sitting. After a moment I thought how am I going to get out of hereI needed to go and now. No way in hell was I going to stay in a house with murderers. I stood up, forgetting about my ankle, and cried out I pain. The door opened and in came the blond boy. I looked at him in disgust.

"Why did you bring me here?" I asked, urgent to get an answer.

"You saw us." He answered, simply.

"Um... I see a lot of people everyday and none of them have ever kidnapped me. So, I'm going to need a bit more than that." I said to him.

"Well, that's all I'm going to tell you. You are here for that reason, and that reason alone. So, get comfortable because you're going to be here for a long time."

"No. I'm not staying anywhere near you or any of the other three of you. Why is it so important that I must stay here? Huh? Or are you just going to stand there, waiting for me to say 'yeah I'll stay!' because that's not happening any time soon!" My anger started to build because of his bland answers.

"I'd watch it if I was you." He replies with clenched teeth, like he was holding back from something.

"What are you going to do? Kill me too? Just do it I'd rather be dead than be forced to remain here!" I screamed at him.

Within two seconds, he was in front of me. He grabbed my face with both hands, and slightly tilted my head to the side so be could get closer to my neck.

"Get off me!" I pushed him back, even though he hardly moved from the force of my push. "What do you think you're doing?" I yelled.

"Trying to freak you out." He said.

"But, how did you get in front of me so fast? You were at the door way and then you were right in front of me." I asked, fear starting to build up again.

"I won't lie to you, but you won't believe me when I tell you the truth. Either that, or you will think we are insane." He replied.

"Try me." I was being spurred on by fear and intriguement, I wanted to know.

"We're vampires." He said and disappeared in the blink of an eye, the door closing behind him.

My eyes widened. No, that's insane. They've got to be playing some kind of sick joke. He'd left before I even had time to open my mouth to start my interrogation and unanswered questions were lingering in my mind.
