Megan's P.O.V

I turned to see a wolf. It was about 2 meters tall and was grey in colour. It's golden eyes bore into me, challenging me, but I wasn't the kind of person who backs down from a challenge. I stood tall, letting the wolf know I wasn't afraid of it. It growled, a low threatening sound. I took a step back, clenching my teeth together to stop myself from doing something I knew I would regret later. I was tempted to run, but I have no idea what this wolf is capable of. It could be faster. It could be stronger. It could be deadlier. But what was worse than a vampire?

The wolf bared its teeth, snapping his jaw, making himself known as the more superior one in this situation. I rose my head, regretting it instantly. The wolf bolted forward, straight towards me. Oh crap! I turned and ran at vampire speed, hoping to lose it that way.

After I had ran for some time, I stopped. I didn't move, I didn't flinch, I didn't do anything. I waited for the next sound to come, but nothing did. The only thing that I could hear was an owl up in the trees. Night was upon us... waiting for its next victim to fall into its trap. That want going to be me.

Hopefully...

I was beginning to think that I'd lost it, when I heard something rush at great speed on my left side. I spun around to face my attacker, but nothing was there.

Something grabbed me and I screamed, wanting for someone to hear me.

Where were the boys when I needed them?

Calum's P.O.V

I ran ahead of the boys, knowing I was faster than them. This was the worst night that she could have decided to run away on. A full moon. Had she not read any vampire fiction when she was younger because we know at least some of it's true. Our worst enemy. Our found legged fiends. Werewolves. Known for their expert tracking skills, their loyalty, their teamwork, but most of all, their hatred for vampires. It doesn't help how they can sniff us out a mile away, whereas, we cannot track them whatsoever. That's probably because vampires doesn't want to have to abuse their nostrils every time a werewolf is in the area.

As I was running through a thick area of trees, I heard a twig snap. I knew it wasn't from any of the other boys because a vampire is too light on their feet to make any noise. It had to be one, which wasn't good. Unless it was a human. No, we would have been able to smell them.

I spotted someone in the distance. Knowing that it wasn't Luke or Ashton, as I was faster than them both. I ran and as I got closer, I realised it was a girl... Megan, but before I could get to her, something hit me from the side, taking the breath out of me. My eyes widen at the sight of a black wolf, growling down at me. I know what they are capable of and I didn't want to find out how painful it is! So, I remained still, keeping my temper at bay. To keep myself calm, I closed my eyes.

Michael's P.O.V

I caught Megan's scent and started running in her direction. My eyes wandered desperately, trying to find the girl that came into our lives all of a sudden. How has she made so much of a difference in less that a week of us being with her? I have to find her before anything else does.

I continued running, following the scent I had caught. The scent became stronger and I followed my instincts. My speed picked up and I was soon in a clearing. My eyes set eyes on a girl. It was Megan. Relief washed over me, but I then realised that she looked scared and had a worried look on her face. It didn't take me long to realise the werewolf in front of her, looking pissed. Oh God!

The wolf bent its hind quarters, getting ready to pounce on Megan. I couldn't let her get bit. We have watched what happens first hand and I can't let her go through that. I ran over to them, slamming the wolf away from her.

"Get behind me," I yelled at her. She just looked at me, confused. "Just do it!"

She complied, moving behind me. "Why?" she whispered in me ear.

"I don't want to see you get hurt." I replied.

The werewolf was back on its feet, way more pissed off than it was before. Oops!

"Run," I told her. She pulled me back with her.

"You're coming with me," Megan said, not waiting for me to say no. Because of her newborn strength, it was easy for her to drag me away. There was no time to turn back now, unless I wanted to be face to face with a deadly, ready to kill, werewolf.

Megan grabbed my hand. We ran side by side, trying to get to safety. We both turned to see if it was following us, but we ran into something. I tripped, dragging her down with me. She fell on me, our lips brushed slightly. Her eyes widened, I just smirked at her. Megan got up, wiping herself down. I pushed up, getting to my feet. This is the time when we both realised that, the thing that we ran into, was Calum.

"Oh my God, Cal!" I said, surprised. "Thank God! Where's Luke and Ashton?"

Calum didn't answer. He clasped his arm in pain, crying out.

"What happened?" Megan asked him, stepping towards him

Again, he didn't answer, but he collapsed, falling to the ground.
